Trader Joe’s just dropped their fall preview. This is big for people like us (we like to call ourselves Aficiona-Joe’s…or Trader De-Joetees). Because Trader Joe’s truly shines in the fall. We’ll be updating our ranking of Trader Joe’s fall foods the second these items hit the shelves, but for the time being, here are the new and returning fall TJ’s foods and drinks we’re going to be pouncing on this season.
- Apple Pie Spread
-
Here’s the hope: If you spread this on a slice of toast and close your eyes, you’ll feel like you’re taking a bite of apple pie. Instant apple pie! Pie for breakfast! Pie in a jar!
- Harvest Vegetable Hash Egg White Bites
-
I know this doesn’t seem like the sexiest Trader Joe’s fall release, but it sounds like the one I’ll be buying the most if it actually tastes good. I’m really curious to find out how the “hash” comes through in the egg bite.
- Maple Leaf Ice Cream Sandwiches
-
These have been getting some attention from the Trader Joe’s fan pages on Instagram. And it’s easy to see why. Maple flavored ice cream sandwiched between maple leaf cookies sounds totally delightful—and like a great way to celebrate our neighbors to the north. Elbows up, Canada!
- Glazed Pumpkin Pie Spice Donut Holes
-
I think this is the perfect amount of pumpkin spiced pastry. I don’t want a whole donut. But a hole? Just right for my own hole. (I’m talking about my mouth.)
- Maple Pancake Flavored Puffs
-
If these actually taste like pancake puffs, my children are going to go bonkers for them.
- Sliced Apple Cinnamon Sourdough Bread
-
Why haven’t I seen this before? Forget cinnamon raisin. Cinnamon apple bread sounds like the best cozy fall toast ever.
- Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini
-
Even though we docked Trader Joe’s original bottled Espresso Martini a couple of points because it doesn’t really taste like an Espresso Martini, it is good. And we already know pumpkin spice and coffee go together. I think this is going to be a hit.
- Pumpkin Spice Wine Cocktail
-
There is no way this isn’t going to be a total sugar bomb. But I want to try it all the same.
- Salted Maple Cold Foam Creamer
-
It really is the year of the canned cold foam creamer. And this new variety from Trader Joe’s could be a real slam dunk. Maple is an underrated fall flavor (unless you’re Trader Joe’s, which really gives it its due). Get some in your morning cup of joe.
- Rustic Apple Tarte
-
I cannot wait to try this returning fan favorite. The filling includes cream cheese, cinnamon, sugar, apples (duh), and slivered almonds. Sounds like a tart I could eat for breakfast.
- Butternut Squash and Caramelized Onion Tart
-
Available in the refrigerated section, this tart sounds amazing. It’s filled with caramelized onions, sage (I LOVE sage, I would wear sage perfume if I could find it), cheese, and cubes of butternut squash, this is fall brunch 101.
- Maple and Sweet Potato Flavored Sandwich Cookies for Dogs
-
I’ll admit, when I first spotted these cookies, I thought they were for humans and I thought they sounded great. They happen to be for dogs—only for dogs according to the packaging. Do I have a dog? No. But I’ll be handing them out to my friends’ dogs to earn their love this fall.
This answered many of my questions. This is exactly what I needed today. Thanks for putting this together.
