Rob Rausch: Love Island alum, professional snake wrangler, profitable on-screen liar, and fast food fan. This is a multi-faceted gentleman, people! Rausch has been in the news non-stop lately thanks to his win on The Traitors, shocking fellow contestant Maura Higgins to the core in the process and proving to us all once again that you can’t trust anyone. Interestingly, since then, he’s made a bit of a pivot into the food world, announcing a partnership with KIND, we’d imagine to prove that he’s…well…kind, and definitely not deceitful.

In an interview with Delish, Rausch also went deeper on all things food and told everyone about his fast food preferences. And they’re pretty much as Southern as they come. Here’s what he eats when he’s not killing people off left, right, and center.
Chicken, Barbecue, Biscuits, Gravy…We Want It All
Speaking to Delish, Rausch revealed that he’s a big fan of Zaxby’s, and one meal in particular. His go-to is a Zaxby’s Kickin’ Chicken Sandwich Meal with heavy sauce, to which he likes to add an extra cup of hot honey mustard and a Sprite. “I get that quite a bit,” he said. Honestly, we approve, just so long as it’s the chain’s classic sauce, which won out in our taste-test of its bottled options. He also said that he’d get takeout when he’s on a date, so that he doesn’t end up inadvertently giving his date food poisoning. Very considerate of you, Rob.
Rausch also went into detail about the other kinds of foods he likes to eat, and specifically what dishes from his home state of Alabama he thinks should be more famous than they are. “It’s got to be Alabama barbecue. No one does it like Alabama,” said the reality TV star. “Also, just classic biscuits and gravy. You’d be so surprised at how many places just cannot do that right.” No word yet on whether he’s going to be grabbing an order of any of those for Higgins, but he did confirm that he bought her that Birkin that he promised her in the Traitors reunion episode. It’s the least he could do!
A Liar? No, Rausch Is KIND
As the whole point of the Delish interview was to go into detail about his partnership with KIND, Rausch did just that – and turns out, he legit likes its stuff. “I’ve been a fan of the brand for a while and love what they stand for,” Rausch raved. “I love their protein products—the Protein Max KIND Bar is one of my favorites. 20 grams of protein and tastes delicious. It’s great stuff and fits right in my lifestyle.” That lifestyle being wrestling snakes to the ground, of course. Hey, you need a lot of energy for that kind of thing. He also said that he was a big fan of KIND’s granola, which didn’t place in our taste-test of the best ones out there – but to each their own, huh?
