Here on Sesame Sporked Street, the word of the day is “moist.” Cup Noodles is hoping to improve the reputation of two historically dry Thanksgiving foods with the power of broth. For better or for worse, we’ve got all the news fit to slurp.

What Thanksgiving foods have been noodle-fied?

The Cup Noodles scientists have made Turkey Dinner and Pumpkin Pie Cup Noodles. May the lord have mercy on us all.

Per the brand, Turkey Dinner Cup Noodles will embody “herb-seasoned turkey broth with sweet corn, tangy cranberry bursts, crisp green beans, warming spices, and tender noodles.” That feels like a lot to pack into a small microwavable(?) cup, but their track record suggests it’s not impossible for them to pull this off.

As for Pumpkin Pie Cup Noodles, the brand swears we’ll all enjoy “pumpkin flavor blended with caramelized brown sugar sweetness and signature pie spices” in every cup. Believe it or not, I’m actually more interested in this one than the Turkey Dinner; that super dry pie crust is the worst part of pumpkin pie for me.

When and where can I get Thanksgiving Cup Noodles for myself?

Luckily (or unluckily) for everyone, these two seasonal Cup Noodles are exclusive to the largest retailer in the world: Walmart. They should be hitting shelves now for a limited time only. In my experience, these limited edition ramen flavors fly off the shelves thanks to the low price and high WTF factor.

Is Cup Noodles okay?

Folks, this has been going on for a while now. Do we need to have a noodle intervention with Nissin? Back in 2023, this whole situation started with the surprisingly pleasant “Breakfast” (maple syrup, pancake, sausage, and egg) flavored ramen—our own Jordan Myrick gave it 8/10 sporks. Last year, we saw Everything Bagel and Campfire S’mores hit shelves in a further affront to everything good and holy. And just a few months ago, Nissin put the nail in the coffin with Dill Pickle Cup Noodles. I am genuinely afraid of what they’re going to produce for the holiday season—reviewing Gingerbread Cup Noodles might actually put me in an early grave.
