I’m usually hesitant to recommend stocking up for an event at Costco. It’s nice to throw a big get-together, but you really have to plan ahead if you’re going to buy in bulk for a gathering. You’re bound to have a lot of leftovers after everyone leaves and politely declines taking a Tupperware full of mixed foods to go.

Easter is different. Everyone wants left over ham—um, ham sandwiches for days? Yes, pleas. I’d also say everyone also wants left over deviled eggs, but the fact of the matter is—as you know if you’re ever made deviled eggs—that there aren’t going to BE any left over deviled eggs.
If you’re ready to start thinking about your Easter Costco haul, we’re here to help. Here’s what to buy at Costco for Easter.
Pure Provisions Hard-Boiled Eggs
Costco doesn’t have ready-to-eat deviled eggs in their deli section. This seems like major oversight, especially with Easter around the corner, but I digress. We’ll have to take things into our own hands, so these pre-hard-boiled eggs will save us precious prep time. Just slice them open, doctor up the yolk, and start off Easter on the right foot.
Hebrew National Beef Franks in a Blanket
Need a little more to bring to the appetizer table? Pigs in a blanket from Costco should fit right in. Well rather beef franks in a blanket instead of pigs. That just means we’re not overshadowing the main event that’s coming up next. Get a little honey mustard to dip them into and you’re in for a real treat. It’s also worth noting that these are Sporked‘s favorite frozen PIABs.
Kirkland Signature Spiral Sliced Ham
Ham is, unequivocally, the main dish you expect to see on the table for Easter dinner. It’s expected but that doesn’t mean you have to shy away from it to seem contrarian. I’d take it over the other options (like a nice steak or roast) because you can just place it in the oven and forget about it until it’s time to come out. Costco makes things incredibly easy by keeping their Kirkland Signature spiraled ham around for easy pickings.
King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls 32 ct
I really need to talk to the buyers at Costco about their work. This is the second year in a row that the 40-count of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls has been out of stock when I’m looking to pick them up for Easter Sunday. Their loss is King’s Hawaiian’s gain though, because we’ll be grabbing them instead. Easter dinner wouldn’t be the same without a bread on our plate to sop up all the teeny bits that our fork can’t quite get to. Plus, you’re going to want these around for ham sliders after the big meal.
Chef Hak’s Organic Roasted Rainbow Carrots
This Costco find works for a few different reasons. It gets a little bit of color onto your Easter plate, which can tend to be pretty beige. The maple dijon glaze also plays off of the honey mustard dip from our earlier [beef franks] in a blanket. Just think of how great that glaze will be when you sop it up with your King’s Hawaiian rolls—yummm.
