It can be hard to imagine a world where buying in bulk is ideal for gift giving. How would you go about it? I suppose you could buy one 72 pound wheel of cheese and carve it up for everyone on your list. Or you can test the limits of how much your friend loves a certain product by buying them enough to last an entire year—oh, you like Dot’s pretzels? Merry Christmas—here’s 36 bags of them! Luckily, Costco came up with a solution: gift sets! Yes, if you’re shopping for foodies and wondering what to buy at Costco, everyone’s favorite warehouse store sells carefully curated assortments that come with a wide range of products centered around one general theme so you can find the right fit for everyone on your list. These are the best gifts at Costco that’ll stop some poor soul from opening up a box of popcorn large enough to open their own AMC.
- Culinary Creations Ghirardelli Brownie Baking Kit
-
This Costco gift pack comes with four Ghirardelli brownie baking kits, so you can get it as a generic gift for your office mates. Each set comes with a cast iron skillet that they can (obviously) use to make this brownie mix, but you could also gift them a list of recipes for pies, cakes, and even Pizookies and, hey, maybe they’ll share what they create.

- Kirkland Signature Belgian Luxury Chocolates
-
I’ll be honest: A big box of chocolate isn’t the most creative Christmas gift. It says, “I’m contractually obligated to get you a gift, but that doesn’t mean I have to try.” And you know what? Sometimes you need that! Sorry, mother-in-law I cannot stand. This is what you get! The cherry on top is that it’s Kirkland Signature branded, so they know you got it from Costco when you were simply running other errands. Burn!
- Godiva Gift Basket
-
Okay, now back to what to buy at Costco for people you do like. This Godiva gift basket is the antithesis of the box of Kirkland chocolates. It’s a well-crafted assortment of chocolates for the true chocolate lover in your life. No ordinary bar of Hershey’s will do. Nor would they be satisfied with a few packets of Swiss Miss. This is pure Belgian chocolate in the form of truffles, caramels, and even chocolate-covered pretzels. This has to be one of the best gifts at Costco for chocolate lovers.
- Gourmet Popcorn Holiday Burlap Sack
-
There’s something funny to me about the combo of “gourmet popcorn” and a “burlap sack” in this Costco food gift. It’s like someone at Costco really hates tins and looked around for literally any vessel to replace the admittedly overdone holiday staple. This humble sack contains five flavors of popcorn, including sea salt and cocoa caramel corn, candy cane popcorn, and pub cheddar popcorn for people who prefer savory to sweet. If a popcorn tin would never make your list of what to buy at Costco for a foodie friend, we still think you should consider this popcorn potato sack!

- Ramen Gift Set
-
Every family’s got at least one. An anime loving weeb who runs around with their arms flailing behind like Naruto. Getting them a body pillow of their waifu for Christmas may be a little much. Besides, Costco doesn’t even sell them (trust me, I checked). What they do have is a nifty ramen gift set that includes Nongshim ramen, two cute bowls, chopsticks, and a few bottles of flavored soy sauce. And everyone knows weebs love ramen almost as much as they love their waifus so we’ll make due with what we can get.

- Stockmeyer Butter Cookie Music Tin
-
I saw no less than six people test out these cookie tins (which play music like a music box) when I was at Costco. And it got me thinking. I bet your grandma’s cookie tin-turned-sewing supplies storage doesn’t play music. It’s time to give her a long overdue upgrade! These come in a few colors, they’re filled with butter cookies, and they’re awfully fun considering they cost all of $8.
