Another month means another roundup of the best new and exciting items to buy at Costco. October brings many seasonal foods so there’s plenty to choose from. We got a chunk of ’em out of the way in our Halloween candy haul, but you can’t live on candy (we know, we tried), so here are some more Costco finds for a satiating spooky season.
- Amylu Maple Chicken Patties
-
These Amylu chicken patties may have been around, but I just noticed them now because they were on an end cap at my Costco. So even if they’re not brand new, I’m giving them a shoutout this month because they’re maple flavored, and, as we all know, maple is a fall flavor (even though we tap maple trees in the spring…). Cook up a couple and eat them alongside a Kirkland Signature pumpkin streusel muffin for an easy breakfast this spooky season.
- Don Lee Farms Shredded Chicken Quesadilla
-
Okay, the Don Lee crispy chicken tacos that I recommended in April are, in fact, not perfect. And that’s on me, but in my defense, I did recommend preparing them in the air fryer and all the defenders in the comments of Jordan’s video said the same thing! So actually I take it back…sorry, Jordan, I think you’re the problem here. Obviously we have to try for round two. Don Lee now has shredded chicken quesadillas in the aisles of Costco, so get them while they’re (the opposite of) hot!
- On the Street Foods Beef Stroganoff
-
While most people may be shifting into soup mode now that cooler weather is approaching, I prefer to shift into beef stroganoff mode. I’ll admit that it doesn’t roll off the tongue quite as nicely. In my mind though, beef stroganoff sticks to your ribs a bit better to really fight off those fall chills. I’d like to think that Costco’s on my side, because they have a new beef stroganoff in the deli section of their stores. Great news for my fellow beef stroganoff-heads out there.
- La Menorquina Mini Caramel Popcorn Ice Cream Sandwich
-
I can’t quite tell if these ice cream sandwiches are leftover from the state fair season or an entry into fall. Either way, they’re so weird I need to try them. Costco doesn’t stock that many fun snacks. That’s a right I usually reserve for Dollar Tree so I’m happy to see it here. Life would be a lot less exciting without a sweet treat, so just imagine how great it’d be to close out the day with one of these mini caramel popcorn ice cream sandwiches to snack on.
- Kirkland Signature Mocha Crunch Bar Cake
-
The Costco bakery is a never-ending source of new and returning products throughout the year. Some choices are better than others. Case in point, Costco also released a 32-count variety platter of dessert bars, and while that did look tempting, this cake seems a bit more reasonable for the average shopper. You can use this mocha crunch bar cake for a number of things. Any birthday parties you have coming up, stash it away in the freezer and eat it slice by slice, or put the whole thing out for your spooky crew doing your next horror movie marathon to keep everyone awake.
- BuzzBallz Biggies Witches Brew
-
Obviously, there’s no better time to grab the spookiest of all the BuzzBallz Biggie flavors. If you’re wondering what to bring to your next Halloween party, a 1.75 liter bottle of “witches brew,” aka a sweet and tart mix containing cherry, blue raspberry, and lemon-lime flavors seems like the right choice. While you can get this behemoth at many liquor stores, it just makes sense to get something this weirdly gargantuan at Costco.
