Are you a spicy gal? Do you want everything in the world, from the latest season of Love Is Blind to everything you eat in a day, to be at least a little bit piquant? Well, I’m sorry to tell you, not everything in the world is spicy. But that, my platonic picante paramour, can all be remedied by adding the hot sauce of your choice to any food- (or dating show-) related situation. So get out your favorite hot sauce (we have suggestions, naturally), and if you are wondering what to use it on, you’re in luck, because here is our comprehensive* list of what to eat with hot sauce.
*the TV you are watching Love Is Blind on is not included in this list, but you may put hot sauce on it if you so choose; just note that we did not tell you to do so.

I mean, Hot Ones exists for a reason. Chicken wings are absolutely meant to be eaten with a hot sauce of some kind. And while these wings come pre-seasoned to be hot and spicy, it never hurts to add more sauce, so long as you do not get lost in it. As Gucci Mane once said, “If a man does not have sauce, then he is lost. But the same man can get lost in the sauce.” Basically, just don’t get lost. And we promise you can’t really veer off course with these. When they tried Foster Farms Hot & Spicy Wings during a tasting of the best frozen chicken wings, the Sporked team noted that these have “aged cayenne peppers and a bit of vinegar to achieve that classically spicy, zesty flavor.” The conclusion was that these are top-notch in both the texture and flavor departments, so go douse them in hot sauce and have a wing partay.

Some things just make sense. Rhett and Link, Mythical Chef Josh and chaos, and eggs and hot sauce. And given that egg bites are, in fact, made of eggs, they deserve a spot on this list of the best things to eat with hot sauce. These egg bites are a heavenly experience. Managing editor Gwynedd Stuart called these “absolutely flawless,” adding that “the bacon is smoky and flavorful, and the Swiss cheese contributes the perfect amount of salty bite.” She also noted that the “silky texture is the biggest feat.” Add some of your favorite breakfast hot sauce and you may just pass out from pure joy. Or not, but I might. What can I say, breakfast is my jam.
- Just Egg Plant-Based Scramble

Are you vegan but used to love good ol’ classic hot sauce on scrambled eggs back in your pre-vegan days? Well, never fear because JUST Egg is not only a delicious and willing vehicle for hot sauce, it’s also just good, solid vegan eggs, which editor-in-chief Justine Sterling described as being like “reconstituted powdered eggs (in a good way).” Add some hot sauce to the mix and you’ll have “spicy reconstituted powdered eggs (in a good way),” and that is pretty darn tasty.
- Patti’s Good Life Mac & Cheese

I didn’t realize that mac & cheese belonged on a list of what to eat with hot sauce until junior year of college, when I made mac & cheese for a bunch of friends and one had brought a bottle of Tabasco with them to the mac party. Let me tell you, this combo RULES. And if you pair one of the best hot sauces with this, the best frozen mac & cheese, you truly can’t go wrong. This lusciously buttery and cheesy mac is also “really well seasoned and tastes absolutely excellent.” It made the Sporked team want an invite to Patti LaBelle’s family Thanksgiving, and if we do get in, you best believe we are bringing the sauce.

It almost goes without saying how good these dumplings are. As senior writer Jordan Myrick put it, they’re “juicy, flavorful, and meaty,” and also “gingery with a hint of sweetness that is really pleasant.” That being said, even good dumplings are made better with sauce, and these Trader Joe’s dumplings are just begging to be served with a mix of soy sauce, black vinegar, hot sauce (maybe a sriracha?), and sesame oil. Truly one of the most underrated things to eat with hot sauce.

It is a well-known fact that Selena Gomez eats her popcorn with pickle juice and hot sauce, and Selena Gomez is rarely wrong about these kinds of things. Now, she supposedly does this with a bag of unsalted popcorn, but I can only assume it would be even better with the “perfect balance of salt and butter” the Sporked team found in Pop Secret’s Movie Theater Butter microwavable popcorn. Spice up your popcorn, kids!

Lastly, burgers. I know, I know. Burgers on a list of what to eat with hot sauce? Curveball. But yes, there are people who sprinkle some hot sauce into every bite of every burger that they consume and I respect the hell out of it. And if you are considering spicing up your burger experience, you might as well choose the best frozen burger patties we tried in our taste test. These truly did taste “richer, beefier, cleaner” than the other burgers we tried, and according to Gwynedd, are “well worth the extra buck or so.” So pick up some of these and add your own spicy spin.
