Aldi’s gone and blown past Thanksgiving! Okay, more like they want to give us lots to choose from when we go for our Thanksgiving staples. What better to tempt us with than a smattering of wintery foods that will be nice to have on hand? Let me tell you, they did a good job. There are some solid new foods out this week that we cannot wait to get our hands on. Let’s get into the details.

Belmont Chocolate Creme Pie (11/4; $5.79)
This is it. The only pie you need for both Thanksgiving and all your winter holidays. I’ll stand up and say it right now. We don’t need pumpkin, we don’t need apple. All you need is chocolate cream pie. Aldi clearly understands that (okay, ignore the pumpkin and apple pies they also sell). There’s a month between family gatherings so you can absolutely get away with bringing a chocolate cream pie from Aldi to both.
Benton’s Fudge Covered Peppermint Cremes (11/4; $3.99)
These fudge covered peppermint cremes seem to be the cross between a York peppermint patty and an Oreo. Technically the mint Oreo does exist, but those don’t have this beautiful, bright creme inside. Aldi’s peppermint sandwich cremes are covered in dark fudge and topped with peppermint sprinkles for a wholly rich experience that’s hard to pass up.
Choceur Belgian Chocolate Waves (11/4; $3.47)
Aldi is bringing back Swoops! In more traditional flavors than their original form. Unfortunate news for me, a real lover of the Reese’s Swoops. This time around Aldi’s versions come in four expected flavors: mint, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and caramel sea salt. Grab these for a poppable way to get some sweet chocolate goodness into your life this holiday season.
Appetitos Everything Franks in a Blanket (11/4; $4.29)
I appreciate that Aldi isn’t just releasing holiday staples this week. They know we also have to have some actual food to eat! Well, I guess this one’s a dual-purpose food. You can eat it on a normal Tuesday night, bring them to a holiday gathering, or add them to the game day snack table. There’s really no wrong way to eat a box full of everything seasoned pigs in a blanket.
Fremont Crab or Lobster Cakes (11/4; $4.99)
Ahh, crab and lobster cakes in stock at Aldi. Surely, that must mean that summer is here and they’re giving us something to celebrate the warm weather with? They want us to heat these up and bring them down to the beach to enjoy the full experience. What’s that? It’s November? I guess that works, too. Grab these for a warm reminder of time in the sun that’ll be ours again in six short months.
