Here’s What’s New At Aldi This Week

Just when I thought we had already thought we had every possible permutation of Halloween items for the season. Aldi’s gone and outdone themselves. Spooky freaking cheese, really. I mean what will they think of next? Spooky graham crackers? Haunted hashbrowns? Anything’s on the table now. Nothing is safe. Especially your cheese. But I can’t lie. They do sound good. So let’s get into things. Here are the new items that are headed to your local Aldi this week.

Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Snacks: Cheeseburger or Taco Style (9/30; $4.99)

New pizza roll dupes from Aldi! Just in time for back-to-school season. Add a little flare to your life with these new cheeseburger or taco style pizza snacks. They’re the perfect thing to keep in the freezer to keep your latchkey kid alive before you get home! Just what every parent needs.

Bakeshop Pumpkin Cookie Sandwiches (9/30; $4.99)

I’m incredibly excited about these new pumpkin cookie sandwiches from Aldi! Disney has a version of these that are a bit deconstructed. They’re pumpkin cookies with the cream cheese filling as a dip on the side. They’re good. Damn good. So naturally a version that you can pick up at Aldi for $4.99 (without paying $200 for a one-day ticket to Disneyland) is a welcomed addition to this week’s lineup.

Emporium Selection Halloween Cheese (9/30; $4.29)

Spooky cheese? Sure, why the hell not. Aldi is selling not one, but four, spooky-themed cheeses this week. They’ve got quite the lineup. There’s bat knit crazy cheddar, freaky franken sage derby cheese, death by garlic black garlic cheese, and scary pumpkin spice wensleydale cheese. A bit of an unexpected drop but honestly, I love the theming here so grab these for your Halloween parties.

Barissimo Dessert Drizzle: Blueberry, Strawberry or Peach & Mango (9/30; $4.49)

Our desserts this fall will be anything but boring if Aldi has anything to say about it! They’re giving us three new dessert drizzles to choose from: blueberry, strawberry, or a peach and mango blend. I do personally wish the peach was on its own but I don’t mind a bit of mango thrown in at the end of the day. Drizzle this onto your ice cream, cakes, or even maybe a little cheeky yogurt in the morning?

Specially Selected Stone Baked Pizza (9/30; $5.99)

Aldi is releasing these new pizzas faster than I can keep up with but this week we have an especially unique one. Okay well, not the stone baked margarita pizza obviously. We’re talking about the other variety. Nduja style sausage. A pizza that’s topped with that dried fermented cured sausage, low moisture mozzarella, cheddar, and onions. Grab this one to spice up your next dinner, literally.
