Yasso Just Added Three New Flavors to Their Spoonables Lineup

At this rate, Ben and Jerry’s might need to watch their back. Yasso is coming for their territory and giving it a frozen yogurt twist. The mix-ins are going wild! Yasso has been slowly releasing a line that they call Spoonables―creamy, spoonable frozen Greek yogurt that are packed with protein, low calorie, but not skimping on the bits or bobs. Proving that taste and texture can still be a sensible option for your macros.

Three New Flavors

This month, Yasso is adding in three flavors to their lineup of Spoonables:

Strawberry Cheesecake: All the flavor of your favorite slice with no fork required. Cheesecake flavored frozen Greek yogurt swirled with real cream cheese for a cheesecake consistency, strawberry puree, and baked graham cracker crumbs that packs 18 grams of protein into every 400-calorie container.

Pecan Praline: A crunch you can’t resist straight out of the freezer. Creamy vanilla frozen Greek yogurt swirled with brown sugar and finished with praline pecans candied in sugar, butter, and sea salt with 410 calories and 18 grams of protein per container.

Key Lime Pie: A summertime snack that’s headed to freezers so we don’t forget about it over winter. Real key lime puree meets sweet white chocolatey flakes and a crumbly graham cracker swirl with 18 grams of protein and 420 calories.

These three flavors will join the five that already make up Yasso’s Spoonables lineup: mint chocolate chip, chocolate chip cookie dough, fudge brownie, cookies ‘n cream, and coffee chocolate chip. Each Spoonables flavor boasts the same promise that there are no artificial colors, flavors, or sugar alcohol to be found.

Interesting Time to Release New Frozen Treats

If anything, I respect the move that Yasso is doing here. While all other brands are shifting into pumpkin spice and warm apple flavors, they’re resisting the norm. They’re holding onto the warm summer days by giving us something to pull from the freezer when we need to cool down. I guess now it’ll just be cooling down when you accidentally left the heat on too high when you were out at work.

Yasso’s three new flavors, and the original five, will be available nationwide in Target locations beginning in the coming weeks. I’ve had a few of the original Spoonables flavors and I will admit, they’re pretty dang good. The cookies ‘n cream in particular. So I’d consider my interests piqued for these next three.
