If your kitchen is anything like mine, it’s incomplete without a coffee maker. I’ve been using Keurig brewers for years and even passed down my rhubarb K-Classic Coffee Maker to my little brother when he moved into his first apartment. Now, I use a K-Mini Mate, Keurig’s most compact machine. The K-Mini Mate and K-Mini Mate Plus usually start at $89.99 and $109.99, respectively, but you can get both for $19.99 each when purchased with a Keurig Starter Kit. But here’s the catch: This deal is only good through October 28. On the plus side, these aren’t the only Keurig coffee makers you can get on sale, and there are a number of options you can shop for 30% off now.

A Look at the Keurig K-Mini Mate Collection

If you’re low on counter space or in a dorm, the K-Mini Mate collection was basically designed for you. Both the K-Mini Mate and K-Mini Mate Plus are under 5 inches wide and are 14.5 inches high when the top is raised. They’re both single-serve coffee makers, however, the biggest difference is in their removable reservoirs. The K-Mini Mate has a single-use, 12-ounce water reservoir that must be refilled every time you use it, and the K-Mini Mate Plus has a 50-ounce reservoir that stores water for multiple refills. With the drip tray removed, these coffee makers can accommodate travel mugs up to 7.25 inches tall.

If you want a little more control over your coffee, the K-Mini Mate Plus can brew over ice, has a strong brew option, and gives you a choice of 8, 10, or 12-ounce cups. With the original model of the K-Mini Mate, the amount of water you pour into the tank determines the size of your beverage, and there are measurement markers on the reservoir so you know how much water it needs. I’ve had a K-Mini Mate for well over a year and can say for certain that either of these brewers would be a great fit for a small space.

What Is the Keurig Starter Kit?

The Keurig Starter Kit is a recurring subscription that auto-delivers your choice of pods or coffee grounds every 2-12 weeks (four weeks is most popular). For this Keurig deal, you’ll have regular deliveries for a year, which means you don’t have to worry about last-minute trips to the grocery store for a pod restock.

I did the math for you and found that the Coffee People pods will bring the total of your K-Mini Mate bundle to $39.97, if you’re looking to save the most money. If that’s not a concern, just pick out pods you like best from Keurig’s wide selection, which includes specialty coffee, tea, and cocoa.

What Makes This Keurig Deal Worth It?

“I am normally a French press coffee person and have been for years, but this little Keurig has changed my mind! I am in love with it and it is so quick and easy! I love that the water reservoir holds enough water for multiple cups of coffee so you don’t have to fill it every time. … This also has a cold brew button that brews your coffee with less water to keep it from tasting watered down when you add ice.” — Stacey S., Keurig K-Mini Mate Plus

“This is such a great size! It’s perfect for small kitchens and any other small spaces. I originally intended to leave this on my desk at work due to the small size. It holds 12 ounces, which is just enough for a single cup!” — Jhericca J., Keurig K-Mini Mate
