Hark, the herald angels sing: A new Alani Nu Energy flavor is born. This time around, we’ve got our hands on Sherbet Swirl, Alani Nu’s take on the classic frozen orange-raspberry-lime dessert.
Technically speaking, Alani Nu actually made a sherbet flavor a while back—just not in their energy drink format. Alani Nutrition (the full name of the company that makes Alani Nu Energy, if you didn’t know) has offered a Sherbet Swirl pre-workout mix for a few years now.
Alani Nu is no stranger to frozen-treat-based energy flavors; let’s find out if this lives up to the high standards of Pink Slush or the good-enough-ness of Blue Slush.
Where can I find this new Alani Nu flavor for myself?
Alani Nu Sherbet Swirl is available at all fine retailers. If you’re of great wealth and confidence you’ll love the flavor, you can always order a case directly from Alani Nu themselves off their website…once they restock. As of now, cases of Sherbet Swirl are sold out online.
What’s next for Alani Nu?
I mentioned this in my original Alani Nu Sherbet Swirl news article, but I’ve got two ideas of what’s coming next. First off, I might have seen a retailer document that mentions the next Alani Nu Energy SKU will be cotton candy-esque. That said, Alani Nu recently trademarked a kickass flavor name: Cherry Bombsicle. While Alani Nu has at least two cherry flavors, I’m not gonna complain about another one. Maybe it’ll follow the frozen treat trend—Cherry Garcia energy drink, anyone?
