We’re Pretty Sure These 3 Red Bull Flavors Are Getting the Axe in 2026

Folks, I was just talking with someone in the industry at a happy hour about how every flavor variant is someone’s favorite. That means every discontinuation is, for somebody (statistically, many somebodies), absolutely horrible news. In that light, I’d like to extend my sympathies and condolences to diehard fans of the three Red Bull flavors that bring us here today.

First off, let’s drop a disclaimer: This information is not official. I asked my proper formal sources over at Red Bull whether they could confirm these rumors; at this time, they have no comment. That said, I also asked multiple historically reliable friends whether they could verify these three drinks are going away; they’re very confident in one and somewhat confident in the other two.

Which Red Bull flavors are going away?

The most dead-as-a-doornail drink is Red Bull Blue Edition, aka Blueberry. Everyone I spoke to behind the scenes was 100% confident we won’t see this drink on shelves in 2026. I have long felt there are too many “blue” Red Bulls on shelves; this is a step in the right direction.

The grapevine was also reasonably confident that two Red Bull Sugarfree variants will be leaving the building or at least be far less available: Amber and Red. The sugar free variants of Red Bull’s Strawberry-Apricot and Watermelon flavors have only been on shelves for about a year and a half; evidently, they haven’t set the world on fire. (If it were up to me, Red Bull’s entire Sugarfree line would swap to the monk fruit sweetener blend used in their new Zero formulation.)

Which Red Bull flavors are replacing them?

Alchemy’s first law of equivalent exchange states, “To obtain, something of equal value must be lost.” Since we are losing something, it stands that we should be gaining something, right? Well, as we’ve covered before, Q1 2026 should see the return of a fan-favorite Red Bull flavor: Iced Vanilla Berry. As far as I can tell, this popular flavor from the winter of 2024 will return under the name “Ice Edition” in full and zero sugar.

Additionally, this year’s White Peach Summer Edition is likely sticking around, replacing the Peach-Nectarine flavor that quietly left shelves earlier this year. The timeframe for that is less concrete, but I’d expect a formal announcement sometime in 2026.
