There aren’t many bad days in this job, but “review the new Reese’s and OREO bundt cake” is easily one of the all-time best work tasks I’ve ever had. Yes, the geniuses at Nothing Bundt Cakes have revealed a limited edition “Triple Treat” cake made with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and OREO Cookies. NBC (not that one) was kind enough to give me an early taste; let’s pretend we don’t already know this is going to be amazing.

Nothing Bundt Cakes Triple Treat Bundlet Made With Reese’s & OREO

Pros: This is everything I want in a dessert. From the moment you crack the clamshell, this cake hits you straight in the nose with Reese’s peanut butter. It’s both topped and stuffed with OREO cookie pieces and chunks of Reese’s, ensuring that every bite is maxed out on chocolate and peanut butter magic. Nothing Bundt Cakes’ standard operating procedure is to fill the core of the bundt cake with their cream cheese frosting but this OREO cookies and cream cake forgoes the normal injection to instead offer a Reese’s peanut butter core. To make sure I wasn’t dreaming, I had my girlfriend verify how good this is; I think she’s now materially more interested in marrying me for these sorts of benefits. This cake will change lives.

Cons: There is no reason for this to be a limited edition flavor. In fact, there’s no reason for Nothing Bundt Cakes to sell any other flavors ever again. They should sell this flavor in every size and every format, indefinitely, until we all die of cake-induced euphoria.
