Last month, I wrote a piece aptly titled “We’re Pretty Sure These 3 Red Bull Flavors Are Getting the Axe in 2026” about some well-founded rumors. Well, I’m feeling pretty good about my track record because I was just sent an internal Red Bull announcement confirming those three discontinuations and a fourth casualty! We already covered the four Red Bulls returning to shelves in 2026; let’s talk about which Red Bull flavors had to die to make room.

Which sugarfree Red Bull flavors are going away?

Back in July 2024, Red Bull launched sugarfree variants of two fan-favorite flavors permanently—a first for the brand. That experiment is now over, as both Sugarfree Watermelon Red Edition and Sugarfree Strawberry Apricot Amber Edition are set to go the way of the dodo. (Don’t worry, the full sugar versions are safe…for now.) Judging by my comments section, SF Red and SF Amber have a contingent of diehard fans planning to stock up in a major way. If you want one last taste of these drinks, hunt them down now before the doomsday preppers clear the shelves.

Which full sugar Red Bull flavors are going away?

Say bye-bye to Blueberry, folks. Yes, we’re losing one of the oldest Red Bull Editions; the Blue Edition was one of the first three Editions launched back in 2013. This cut was a long time coming in my opinion—there’s just too many damn blue Red Bulls.

The Blue Edition will be joined in the great fridge in the sky by 2024’s Curuba-Elderflower Green Edition. (That clarification is important—there have been three different Green Editions in our lifetimes.) Losing the oldest and newest Red Bull Editions in one fell swoop…Red Bull is ruthless, y’all. At least they’ll be replaced by true modern classics.

When will these flavors disappear for good?

Red Bull has already stopped producing these four flavors, but you won’t see them leave shelves for good until the existing backstock is fully depleted. Red Bull expects these to be entirely off the market by mid-January 2026, meaning you have a couple months to get one last taste before they say goodbye.

Which Red Bull flavors are replacing them?

Luckily for us, I already know which four Red Bulls will take these valuable shelf spaces. I covered the news in detail late last month, but here’s a summary: We’ll see the permanent return of 2024’s Iced Vanilla Berry Winter Edition and 2025’s White Peach Summer Edition in both full sugar and sugarfree.

  • I have been drinking Red Bull blueberry for a while, I have a few cans left in fridge
When those are gone , I will officially quit drinking Red Bull, Red Bull should of checked with the consumers before they made the decision to discontinued the Blue Berry flavour.

  • Blueberry red bull has been the only flavor I like and buy on a daily basis…. now you are discontinuing this!!! This is the one product that I have heard so many people complain about you discontinuing. If I was the owner of red bull, I would reconsider this.

What am I going to do with out my 4 blueberry red bull aday? Iv been looking every where for it , no one has it, and now Iv discovered it’s gone for good! How horrible! I’m not real happy with this, there’s several other flavors that are not good at all they could have pulled them !! Gees!! So now what? These other flavors better be off the hook , lol I’m a disgruntled consumer!

  • I am actually VERY angry about this! I’ve been drinking blueberry Redbull since it started! Honestly it’s the only one I actually like. All of the new ones taste kind of like chemicals. They are nasty!! I have been a faithful customer buying a case of them every 24 days! So now I’m stuck with the plain original one??? I suppose that will be next! This ticks me off as silly as it may sound to some people. I can’t stand other energy drinks because they taste like chemicals, like wine or like a diet flavor. And now they want to replace it with these nasty new ones that taste just as bad as other brands??? I’m truly thinking about just saying FU to Redbull period and just stick with blueberry Lotus (the kind you make yourself at home like an espresso stand). I knew something was going on because Walmart quit selling it first. Now Amazon which where I buy it. This is where I found out the bad news. I know I can’t be the only one who’s extremely upset about it!!!! 😩

  • All my friends & family have been drinking the Blueberry flavor since it was introduced. Quite honestly, this is the only flavor I enjoyed, because it didn’t taste like fake chemical flavoring. I’m SUPER disappointed and I hope they come to their senses and bring it back ASAP ! Because all the other Blue flavors are disgusting : /

  • The Blue Edition Blueberry was the only RedBull flavor that paired well with my Jeagermeister. It was the flavor I preferred. I know it was popular because there were times it would be bought all up at our local store and I’d travel store to store to find it. I regularly drank this flavor. It’s a shame you have taken it out of production.

  • 1st , a few years ago- they discontinued the most popular orange or tangerine?! Now, they are discontinuing the most popular blueberry- why keep fooling around making up new flavors when the old ones sell better?! Always the ones we have bought cases of as they are too expensive to buy 1 @ a time or even sale prices 3 for 8$ or sometimes 2 for 6$?!?!

  • Blueberry is my favorite!!!
A few summer’s ago they brought out a flavor that I loved and I can’t remember the name of it? It was in a teal blue can and only lasted one summer. It’s NOT the Juneberry. I think the Juneberry took it’s place? Juneberry is ok, but I would love to see whatever that one was come back!
I also like Curuba!!! Coconut Berry and Juneberry are ok, BUT I need Blueberry!!

Guess it’s time to try all the other energy drink brands.

  • Out of all the flavors to bring back they chose the “ehhhhh they’re alright” flavors. BRING BACK THE PEAR CINNAMON FLAVOR!!!!!!!!! That’s the only other good—GREAT one they had besides the yellow one!!!

  • White peach & Vanilla flavors are most loved ones if they make it back it will be great choice for us.

  • If they are bringing the iced vanilla berries back then they should really bring the light purple grapefruit-blossom flavor back….that was my absolute favorite.

    • I agree bring the light purple grapefruit-blossom back!!! That was the best one you all have put out in years. Another good one was the pomegranate winter edition.

  • I feel yall are clearly not looking at your sales on certain flavors and how well they’re doing. I get that companies can’t have a lot of flavors but atleast make them seasonal.

The white peach is too sour. Not a fan.

  • Wish you would bring back the Peach Nectarine. It was the best, then the Pear Cinnamon. Can never find the White Peach. Just tried the new Fugi Apple Ginger. It was so so.

  • Notre Dame was playing in Dublin in 2012, bar just got blueberry redbull in, tried it with vodka. I have been drinking it for 13 years, this is horrible news. RIP BLUEBERRY!!!

  • I guess this means I’m switching back to Monster Zero. They always take the good SF options and replace them with ones I hate

    Reply
  • Welp, no blueberry means no red bull for me. Bye bye i guess

    Reply
    • I agree no redbull for me either

  • As someone who always drinks the original flavor whenever they come out with a new flavor, I give it a try, but usually just go back to the original flavoring, I was heartbroken when the vanilla ice berry Red Bull went away. I really hope they bring it back or possibly even make it a permanent flavor. I work at a grocery store and every time they would restock that Red Bull would be sold out within the same day so it’s not like it wasn’t popular.

    Reply
    • The Curuba and the Juneberry ones are total misses, they should just get rid of them because they both taste like medicine and bring back vanilla ice berry 🫶🏻

      Reply
  • Please don’t let blueberry get the X. I fell in love with that flavor a few years back. It’s my go to flavor. I damn near buy it daily. Without the blueberry I’m nothing.

    Reply
    • Red bull must be dumb if they are getting rid of blueberry because thats probably their constant best selling flavor no matter where you go its always sold out at walmart target publix and other stores and its the only flavor that actually tastes good without being overly sweet . What they need to is revamp all the flavors and use natural ingredients instead of artificial flavors
