Stop! Well, not reading this. Or I’d be out of a job. Just like, stop when you get to your destination of Stop & Shop to take advantage of the sick game day deals they have going on. That’s a good intro, right? Hopefully you didn’t listen to me at first and actually made it here. Maybe you did and I’m just talking to myself at this point. Either way, I’m going to run through some good game day deals at Stop & Shop for you to take advantage of if you are still with me.
TGI Fridays Cheddar & Bacon Loaded Potato Skins ($5.99)
Think restaurant-quality apps for game day are unattainable at home? Think again! Sporked’s Jordan Myrick loved these in our taste test because they’re “cheesy and bacon-y and perfectly greasy.” These TGI Fridays loaded potato skins are the real deal (and they’re a good deal at Stop & Shop).
Tostitos Chips, Salsa, or Ruffles (Buy 2 Get 2)
There’s a lot to cover here so let’s try to get through it all. Stop & Shop has Tostitos chips and dips and Ruffles all on sale together at a buy two, get two free rate. That means you can get tortilla chips, a jar of salsa, and a few extra bags of flavored chips to set on the side. The game day snack table is going to be overflowing after this one!
Campbell’s Chunky Chili Mac ($2)
You have two options with Campbell’s chunky chili mac. You can either tell everyone about the amazing deal you got at Stop & Shop by grabbing it for $2 a can or you can dump a few cans into a crockpot, set it on low, and pass it off as your own. Your secret’s safe with me either way.
Ithaca Gluten Free Lemon Garlic Hummus ($3.99)
The title says “big game” deals, but it doesn’t specify which game that actually is! Perhaps you’re watching a game of cricket or a silent day of golf and you need something a little more sophisticated. I kid, I kid. You can bring this out for any game day. We love Ithaca’s hummus so much we’re just happy to see it at the table.
Corona Light Beer 12 pk ($18.99)
That’s a lot of salty snacks that need washing down so be sure to pick up a case or two of beer while you’re out. Cheap doesn’t have to mean bad though, so be sure you grab one, like Corona Light, that’s Sporked approved.
