Trader Joe’s frozen Indian food is some of the best stuff you can buy at Trader Joe’s. Seriously, I’ve tried pretty much all of it (you can find proof in our ranking of the best Trader Joe’s Indian food), so you can believe me when I say that nearly all of it is A+ level stuff. I regularly buy a few entrees and the frozen naan for quick dinners (that are way cheaper than takeout). But it turns out I’ve been leaving tasty possibilities on the table. One Redditor has come up with a way to reinvent Trader Joe’s frozen Indian entrees and we all need to try it ASAP.

Trader Joe’s Frozen Indian Burritos
Here’s the super simple hack: Take the contents of a frozen Indian entree (curry and rice) and pile it into a big tortilla (here are our picks for the best flour tortillas), then roll it up. Ta-da! Indian burrito! In the Reddit post, the OP uses Paneer Tikka Masala, which comes with spinach basmati rice, and adds lettuce, cilantro, and sour cream. But you don’t have to follow that formula exactly.
One commenter suggested adding Trader Joe’s zhoug sauce and garlic dip, then finishing with the store’s habanero hot sauce. Another recommended using TJ’s scallion pancakes for a real fusion-style burrito. Here’s my pitch: Trader Joe’s Lamb Vindaloo, rice, Trader Joe’s tzatziki.
The reviews are in and people are loving it
The reviews within the post are effusive. “I’ve done this so much since you posted sincerely thank you,” one commenter wrote. “OP thank you so much I just made this with the chicken tikka and it’s AMAZING,” wrote another. “You’ve changed my life in an instant,” yet another wrote.
