Cosmetics that smell like food are nothing new – and this year, we’ve seen a couple of ‘em. Interestingly, it’s been a big year for lip balms imbued with food flavors, sometimes in some fairly weird ways: We didn’t really blink when Olipop launched a range of soda-flavored lip balms (cream soda balm sounds pretty good), but e.l.f’s dill pickle flavor did surprise us a little more. Hey, it’s 2026. Nothing is off the cards.

Dove feels like that too, apparently – although the skin and body care company is keeping things fairly in line with its usual output with its new release. Dove is dropping a range of products that smell like ice cream. Maybe just try to refrain from tasting them.
Dove Ice Cream Parlor Collection
We first heard about Dove’s new Ice Cream Parlor collection, as we do with a lot of new under-the-radar releases, via @candyhunting over on Instagram, who posted a picture of four of the products. Dove’s working with four new flavors for this new collection: Pistachio Gelato, Raspberry Sorbet, Strawberry Swirl, and Coconut Vanilla. As we mentioned, this feels roughly in line with the scent profiles that Dove usually works with: Its products generally stay on the lighter, fresher, almost more buttery side of things, with some gentle fruit notes thrown in every now and again. As such, these feel like a natural extension, with an ice cream-y twist.
It looks like these scents will run the gamut of its products, too. Dove’s Ice Cream Parlor collection will comprise body washes, body scrubs, antiperspirants, and deodorant body mists, all in these four scents. Hey, why not use one of each per product? Then you could smell like a sundae, if that’s your thing.
Where Can I Find Them?
Word on the street is that these will be a Target exclusive and will be launching on July 5. @candyhunting, though, has mentioned that some Targets have been stocking them early, so you might spot them in the wild before then.
As for what the world is making of them so far…we’ll leave you with this comment from @candyhunting’s post, which sums up exactly what we’re thinking about this new release. “Somebody is going to try and eat those.” Oh, you bet they are.
