Not to toot my home country’s horn too much, but we’re well covered on the chocolate front. Granted, our chocolate market is not nearly as big as the United States’, but the options we do have are pretty good. Cadbury? Check. Galaxy? Delicious. Tony’s Chocolonely (which is actually Dutch, but which is massive over here)? Yup. And we also have M&M’s, Hershey’s, Reese’s, and all manner of American chocolate, which seems to get more prominent by the day.

And now and again, the trailblazers over here come out with a product with a flavor combination that has to be shared with the rest of the world. Enter these new Cadbury x Biscoff drops, which can now be found at World Market. Speaking on behalf of the UK: It’s a pleasure to share them.

Cadbury x Biscoff

Yesterday, one of our go-to sources for new product releases, @candyhunting, revealed that World Market had two new chocolate bars on its shelves. Both of them are made by Cadbury (that is, the UK-made, original Cadbury, instead of the US Cadbury bars made by Hershey), and both of them are Cadbury chocolate and Biscoff mashups that you’ll probably want to try.

The first bar, Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff, is a combination of Cadbury chocolate with crunchy Biscoff cookie pieces. The second, Cadbury &More Biscoff, takes the same principle – but there’s a Biscoff spread center inside, creating delights on top of delights. Both of them are imported, and thus have the UK Cadbury chocolate as their base, which has a slightly different texture and a creamier consistency and flavor than the US version. And both of them are absolutely worth seeking out if you can find them.

Really?

Really. I speak from experience here when I say that both bars are utterly delicious. These have been out in the UK for a minute, and the flavor profiles going on in them are dynamite: Creamy, smooth milk chocolate, combined with the caramel- and malt-inflected notes from the Biscoff, which gives the former almost a nutty depth. The &More Biscoff bar is especially good – and don’t just take my word for it, either. “I live near a World Market and let me tell you guys the bottom bar is SO good,” said one person in @candyhunting’s comments.

The people have spoken. The people being…me (and this other person). But honestly, I wouldn’t come out to bat for these bars if I didn’t think they were really good. Find ’em now.
