You Can Grab Free Double Protein At Chipotle For One Day Only

Generally speaking, Chipotle really doesn’t keep its deals around for very long. When it offers discounts or BOGO offers for wearing a soccer jersey, they can often be rather frustratingly limited, and you have to act quickly. Like, really quickly: Sometimes these deals run for just a few hours. If you thought it would be changing that any time soon, too, you may well be disappointed – because its latest double protein deal is running for one day only.

And that day is TODAY (well, if you’re reading this on Thursday, August 27). Hop to it, people!

Chipotle’s Double Protein: One Day Only

For August 27 only, Chipotle customers can get double protein on any entrée if they use the code PROTEIN at checkout on the Chipotle app or via its website. The entrée in question has to be full-priced, and you can only redeem the offer on one meal. Crucially, this offer also isn’t available through in-store purchases: You have to use electronic methods here, people. It’s also not redeemable on Chipotle’s High Protein Cups, tacos, or quesadillas. 

Sorry to lead with all the T’s & C’s here, but I thought it’s better to just get that all out of the way up top. We also realise this information is coming on the morning of the deal itself, but in our defence, Chipotle only published its press release for the double protein offer yesterday, so we didn’t have too much warning here. In the press release, the restaurant tied the offer to its Chipotle Honey Chicken, which it brought back this summer, and which is in its final week. If you want to double up on that one, now’s your chance; we don’t know if it’ll make another return next year. Chipotle did say that it’s going “back to the vault,” which might imply that we’ll see another remount…but who knows. We are but the humble messengers of the food news that comes to us.

Not in proximity of a Chipotle today, and can’t make it down for lunch or dinner? Luckily, there is one still-redeemable offer that Chipotle’s announced that isn’t such a speedy turnaround. Chipotle’s offering a free entrée to customers who order two through the Chipotle app or its website after 3 p.m. on Sundays, August 30 and September 6. For that one, you have to use the code SUNDAYS at checkout. One for now, one for later, we guess?
