I’m starting to really hone in on what this monthly haul from Costco should be about. Unfortunately, there are a few snacks that fall between the cracks of our weekly what’s new hauls so this is a chance to catch up―on the new loves, the old items that we’ve given a second chance, or just a chance for me to ramble on something I saw that looked pretty neat. I’ll never turn down a chance to ramble on. Here are six things that I’m absolutely excited to buy at Costco in September.

La Menorquina Dubai Ice Cream Sandwiches
When you become a Costco fanatic like I have, you end up talking to all your friends about Costco. You naturally find out who has a membership and who’s using it. Then comes the important question. “What’s your favorite thing to get at Costco?” Unfortunately due to the nature of our Costco coverage, that means I have to sit on a find like this for a month. The Dubai ice cream sandwiches haven’t been new for a while, but my friend still swears by them so here we are.
Jonny Pops Sour Blue Raspberry Splash Pops
We’re right in the middle of the Minnesota State Fair. While there are a thousand and one foods I’d love to share with you from the festivities, they don’t travel very well. There is, however, one Minnesota based company that has their products in Costco of all places! You, the masses, can get Jonny Pops sour blue raspberry splash pops in Costco and see what all the hubbub is about.
Maitre Pierre Provencal Flat Bread
Frozen pizzas from Costco are iconic. Rightfully so. There’s no better food to get in bulk and have on hand for easy dinners. Frozen pizzas can be a little low brow though so I’m sure that’s why Costco decided to add this flat bread to their shelves. The ingredients are so much more than a traditional pizza. This is made with creme fraiche, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, goat cheese, and provence herbs. Fancy!
Kokoro Classic Egg Grilled Musubi
If you want to make musubi from scratch, I certainly won’t stop you. Realistically, it’s not that hard to make, but it does dirty up a few more dishes than I’d like to do when I’m in a household of one and there’s no one to take over when it’s time to clean up. Pulling an egg grilled musubi straight from a bag I got at Costco is infinitely easier so I’ll choose that route.
Petit Pot Mango Tapioca Pudding
My absolute favorite things at Costco are these little dessert cups that have ever-rotating flavors. The flavor for September is mango tapioca and while I do think that would have been a bit better to have in the middle of summer, we’ll make due. This way you can still dream you’re out on the beach when you’re starting to pull your sweaters out of deep storage.
Lark Ellen Farm Organic Lemon Blueberry Sprouted Granola
While this one may seem like the same mistiming of seasonal foods, the mistake here lies on me. This lemon blueberry sprouted granola has actually been out for a few months and we should have covered it in a weekly haul. Sometimes things get busy! So now that we finally get to talk about it, here’s something you can grab to hold onto the last hopes of summer with.
