This week, Crumbl has collaborated with the global gaming sensation Minecraft on a full slate of desserts. While we’ve already covered the layered Grass Block Cake, there are five other treats to talk about. As Sporked’s most senior Minecraft player (seriously, my account is old enough to get its temps in the state of Ohio), the brand gifted me all five new Minecraft Crumbl cookies for review. Let’s find out which of these is worth a hike to the Far Lands and which should be thrown off the edge of the End, never to return.

- Chicken Cookie Butter Cookie Review

It’s a banner year for cookie butter, and this Minecraft Crumbl cookie is a solid execution of why the trend exists. A cookie butter-flavored cookie topped with melted cookie butter and cookie butter frosting doesn’t leave much room for the alleged spiced, cinnamon, vanilla flavors I’m supposed to be tasting here, but I’m not going to complain about cookie butter overload just yet. (Just give it a month or two; I’ll be sick of it soon enough.)
This isn’t particularly Chicken-themed either, not that we need more chicken cookies in the world right now. That said, cookie butter three times over is perfect for this collaboration: This Minecraft Crumbl Cookie features Cookie Butter… Cubed.

- Pig Cherry Blossom Cookie Review

This is one of the simpler cookies on offer this week, even if the recipe doesn’t sound like it. This maraschino cherry-embedded cookie is topped with maraschino cherry-blended cream cheese frosting and cookie crumbs to boot. What that all actually translates to is… a lightly cherry-flavored cream cheese cookie.
And I’m not mad about that! In a week full of excess, it’s nice to have something softer in comparison. Cherry and cream cheese frosting make for a great combination that lends itself to a lighter overall flavor, which is exceptionally rare for Crumbl. Much like the humble Minecraft Pig, this is easy to knock out.

- Creeper Key Lime Cookie Sandwich Review

As a citrus fan across the board, this lime-packed cookie sandwich is right up my alley. The green sprinkle coating keeps the otherwise uniform texture interesting, while the lime frosting and lime cookie both taste impressively “fresh”. I think we’re seeing the benefit of Crumbl starting to focus their recipes around the ingredients they’re already bringing in for their dirty soda bar; between the lime here and the maraschino cherries earlier…
As the most recognizable mob to kids, the bright flavor in this Creeper cookie will be palatable to kids everywhere. If that’s not the most important factor in a Minecraft collaboration, I don’t know what is.

- Bee Lemon Poppyseed Cookie Review

Mark my words: I will never complain about a lemon cookie. Not now, not in the future, never. The lemon curd atop this lemon poppy seed cookie creates a pleasant give between the firmer (yet still soft) lemon layers of buttercream and cookie sandwiching it.
I wouldn’t go so far as to say the lemon has a “sting”, but the Bee isn’t a bad pick for this lightly-tart Minecraft Crumbl cookie. I wonder if anyone’s going to stack a few of these together to try and create an actual cube-shaped, appropriately striped Bee…

It’s hard to go wrong with a cookies & creme-flavored cookie sandwich. It’s really hard to go wrong with a cookies & creme-flavored cookie sandwich packed with marshmallow-flavored creme and brownie pieces. This is my all-time favorite OREO‘s bigger, badder brother. (And if I wasn’t already convinced, this cookie is also my favorite color… Is this bribery?)
While the Enderman may not be everyone’s favorite mob, the cookie matches the dark-dark-purple color scheme super well, and the flavor is appropriately killer.
