The most beautiful creation that the Costco bakery has produced is the bar cake. It’s an incredibly convenient way to serve up cake. One that should have been created infinitely sooner considering how chaotic a round cake is in practice. Why are we cutting a circle into slices? Costco loves to whip up a new bar cake to match the season and boy, did they hit the nail on the head with this latest one. Of course, we have to fill in the rest of this with a little fun so here’s the new bar cake and a few more new foods that are coming to Costco this week.

Magic Spoon Protein Treats Variety Pack
Magic Spoon just released a variety pack of their protein treats at Costco with two flavors inside: chocolate peanut butter and marshmallow. Think two childhood classics that just got beefed up with protein. So you can either get a hit of nostalgia while still meeting your macros or sneak a bit of protein in your kid’s diet. Is that something you have to worry about? I know literally nothing about kids.
Doughlicious Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough & Gelato Bites
This is incredible. Cookie dough and gelato, all in one bite. Yes, please! These poppable desserts are the absolute greatest thing you to end your day with when you need a sweet little treat before bed. A Costco-sized bag of them comes with 25 balls which according to my calculations are just about enough to get you through three days!
Tuscanini Pitted Olives
Now for Doughlicious’ antithesis. The poppable pitted olive from Costco! In a cute individual serving sized package. Now that’s convenient! I was just wondering how to get more olives into my day, regardless of where I am. Just imagine how jealous people are going to be at the ball game while you pull these out of your pocket!
Fischer & Wieser Farmstead Maple Pumpkin Butter and Pecan Apple Butter
This one might be too steamy to even recommend! Costco’s selling two 18.5oz jars of maple pumpkin butter and pecan apple butter. That’s a lot of fruit butter to get through! I do think these will be tempting enough every time you go into the fridge that you will be able to get through them in just enough time. Add them onto your morning toast or onto your pork chops for dinner.
Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Bar Cake
Costco is really making me look a fool. I went and created an unofficial release schedule for their bar cakes and they’re adding another one into the mix that I didn’t even mention. Egg on my face! But good news for us all because we get to enjoy the new Kirkland Signature pumpkin bar cake this week. So we’ll call it even.
