Sam’s Club’s New Donuts Are Here To Usher In Fall

On Tuesday, meteorological summer ends. We had a good run, folks. We had the World Cup, after all! That was fun for a while! We had barbecues, and relentlessly hot weather (sometimes too hot for my tender, fragile nature, I must say), and plenty of food announcements along the way. But now: Fall.

Naturally, we’ve been seeing food brands and supermarkets ready themselves for the changing of the seasons for weeks now, and Sam’s Club has been busier than a lot of ‘em. The retailer dropped its PSL cake back in JULY, followed by its pumpkin pie – and now it’s released its new fall donut collection. And all I’m gonna say is, if you like shades of orange and yellow, you’ll love this one. Okay, that’s not all I’m gonna say. Let’s say more.

Sam’s Club Fall Donut Collection

This week, Sam’s Club dropped its new fall donut trays, with five different varieties coming in a 20-count tray (four of each flavor). As confirmed by @samsclubfavorites, the trays are in-store now, and the five flavors are:

• Orange Iced: A ring donut adorned with orange icing and topped with sprinkles.
• Caramel Custard Crunch: Topped with white icing (and a drizzle of orange icing to boot) and yellow crunchy pieces. I assume that there’s custard in the middle of this, but I have yet to get confirmation on that. Anyone from Sam’s Club reading this?
• Cinnamon Powdered Sugar: A simple doughnut with a powdered sugar exterior, and what I suspect is a cinnamon filling inside. 
• Maple Crunch: A ring doughnut with a maple glaze and a chocolate drizzle. 
• Chocolate Iced: Your standard chocolate iced ring doughnut, hit with orange sprinkles. ‘Cos, y’know, fall. 

Suitably autumnal, I think we can all agree. 

Donuts, And More Donuts

Sam’s Club promises that there are no artificial colors or flavors in these donuts. My personal feeling is that these would be excellent arranged on a fall-themed platter, so if anyone’s planning on celebrating the turn of the season in the next few weeks, these are the baked goods for you. Given how new they are, we don’t know how each one tastes yet, but people are excited about this selection.

Sam’s Club is leaning into the fall spirit elsewhere, too. Its new lasagna soup is a bowl of pure comfort. Stock up, shut the door, and watch the leaves fall from the trees through the window.
