New York Fashion Week Just Gave Us An Unexpected Food Accessory

New York Fashion Week is upon us! Don’t worry, it was news to me too. This year though they’ve unveiled the ultimate accessory for the food fashionistas out in the world. Rachel Comey and Unreal Snacks have teamed up to create the Coco Bag, a limited-edition bag inspired by the inside of an Unreal chocolate wrapper.

A Chocolate Wrapper??

Yes! Well again, just inspired by the chocolate wrapper. Your phone and wallet won’t start smelling like chocolate anytime soon! Unless you stash your own chocolates in your purse which you are 100% free to do as well! Rachel Comey has brought her creative lens to the project, in honor of the very chocolates that she loves to snack on.

“I’ve genuinely loved and eaten Unreal’s Dark Chocolate Coconut Bars and Peanut Butter Cups while working on collections for years, so this collaboration started from a very real place for me,” says Rachel Comey. “I wanted to take something I already knew and loved and see it differently. The Coco Bag grew out of that idea: turning something familiar inside out, and finding another life for it.”

The Coco Bag turns the familiar chocolate wrapper inside-out to create a fashion accessory that’s as unexpected on the outside as it is functional on the inside. The piece’s silver Tyvek exterior mimics the structure of an Unreal chocolate wrapper, while its graphic striped cotton interior brings together vibrant colors pulled from Unreal’s packaging and Comey’s Spring/Summer ’27 collection.
