In the first 30 seconds of the preview for DreamWorks’ upcoming Forgotten Island, you hear someone shout “Oh, my God, the chicken!”

Don’t worry, the scene isn’t as terrifying as it sounds―there are no monster chickens. A fast food restaurant worker is just reacting (with reasonable tragedy) to a batch of fried chicken that their preoccupied coworker has accidentally let catch fire. If that kind of passion for fried chicken moves you, you’re gonna want to hear about the collaboration between the upcoming Philippines-set Forgotten Island and Jollibee, starting Monday, September 14th.
Everything About The Collab
And it starts with food: Jollibee Meal Deals with Forgotten Island-themed charms (for friendship bracelet-building) and sticker sheets in a blind-box. They’re also unleashing a new, exquisitely tart Calamansi Lemonade that’ll go with each meal deal (Calamansi is a beautiful orange and green citrus native to the Philippines, sweet and intensely sour). The deals are Box, Sandwich, and Bucket-based, with your choice of spicy or original Chickenjoy chicken, rice, gravy, peach mango pie, and the Calamansi Lemonade (just maybe don’t order a side of mac and cheese).
Collectors will probably jump at the new merch. Depending on the size of your meal, you’ll get one (or more) of those eight bracelet charms and movie-inspired sticker sheets. If you’re looking for more than stickers, you’re in luck, because they’re also releasing a “Retro ’90s Streetwear Collection” (available online) from September 14th through October 31st.
The streetwear collection includes a $35 T-shirt and a $75 hoodie featuring the two main character besties. On October 2nd, there’s an additional drop of a $75 windbreaker, inspired by one of the character’s actual looks in the movie. The entire collection will be available exclusively on the Jolly Merch Shop until the end of October.
The Grand Prize
But, of course, the big prize is what we’re really excited about. After you’ve finished your Chickenjoy bucket, don’t forget to enter the Jollibee/Forgotten Island sweepstakes to win a trip to the Philippines. As is the trend these days, you do have to be a Jollibee Rewards Member to qualify. There are five total travel prizes, including Catalina Island, Cape Cod, any national park, and a traveler/adventure gear pack (which includes a camera, GPS watch, and more). While there aren’t many solid details on any of the trips yet, details will likely be announced closer to the film’s release on September 25th.
