Twix Has A New Bar Coming Out, And People Are Pumped

I’ve always thought that Twix is wholly underrated. There’s an argument to be made that so much more could be done with it, that its simple combo of caramel, biscuit, and chocolate just isn’t that exciting; I prefer to think of it as a classic format that stands up just fine on its own. And when you think of a Twix as a palette upon which you can paint – by which I mean, a palette upon which Mars can project new flavors, ideas, and forms – then it becomes so much more exciting. We’ve seen that this year with its Halloween flavor, Twix Baskets, and Twix Bits. It’s all to play for.

Now, Twix is bringing another new option to the table – although we might have to wait until next year to try it. Safe to say people are excited about this one. 

Twix Frosted Cookie Flavor

This week, we’ve received news that Twix is due to release a Frosted Cookie flavor next year. Coming via @candyhunting, this flavor will be featured at the 2026 NACS Show this week in Las Vegas, a yearly event for food companies and brands to showcase their latest products to convenience store professionals, and a moment that provides us with a sneak peek at some of the items we’re going to get in the coming year. 

Each Twix Frosted Cookie bar comes with two fingers (duh) made with a shortbread base and a vanilla-flavored creme, covered in milk chocolate. Think sugary, creamy, frosting-y. They will contain artificial flavors and have 200 calories per pack. 

And The Response? 

So far, people seem to be pumped about Twix’s new flavor – although those who have tried it have some slightly different opinions (more on that in a moment). The general vibe is one of excitement, and people have also pointed out how nice they look: The vanilla creme inside provides a nice contrast to the shortbread and milk chocolate, and the powder-blue wrapper is a nice touch. This flavor feels tailor-made for Easter, although one person did say that it would have been perfect for Christmas…which is definitely true. But hey, there’s always next year. 

With all that said, though, one person did say on @candyhunting’s post that they “[weren’t] a huge fan when I tried these.” Unfortunately, they didn’t elaborate further, so we have no sense of why that was the case; maybe we’ll get some more reactions from the NACS Show in the coming days. Until then, though, just know that Frosted Cookie is on its way.
