Halloween doesn’t have to always be about candy! In fact, I think we need to do our best to remember to add in snacks that aren’t just candy. There’s already going to be enough of the stuff around us so we have to fight to balance things out. Not that this list has to only be salty snacks (we’ve already done a whole taste test on that subject).

These are just snacks that happen to not be just candy. They could be sweet! They could be salty. They could even be spooky. Here are the five snacks that we’d proudly bring to a Halloween party when candy is off the table. Well, metaphorically that is. There’ll surely be a bowl of candy out at any Halloween party you make it to.
Welch’s Monster Splash Juicefuls
Welch’s Monster Splash Juicefuls are a hack to the whole premise! They feel like candy, but they’re not actually candy. It’s genius! These juicy filled fruit snacks feature pumpkin, ghost, and skull shapes for the Halloween season. Just fill a bowl with these juicy little buggers and watch the party go wild.
Little Bites Mystery Mini Muffins
Little Bites has a new mystery flavor out for their mini muffins to celebrate the spooky season. This means you can turn them into a game for the evening. Set them out and let everyone dig in throughout the night. As they partake on their own time, they can pool their guesses together for a final reveal at the end of the night. Now, we don’t quite know what the mystery flavor is so you’ll have to make the call on if you can confidently name a winner or not.
LesserEvil Spooky Space Balls Snack Pack
This snack pack of LesserEvil Space Balls is definitely meant to be handed out to trick-or-treaters. What is a room full of people gathering at one person’s house all dressed up on Halloween if not a gathering of trick-or-treaters? Hand these out to all the guests so they don’t have to awkwardly go through the song and dance of trying to dig a serving of cheese balls out of a big ole’ bowl on the snack table!
Kelly’s Killer Popcorn Salt Pepper Garlic
Kelly’s Killer Popcorn actually landed the top two spots in our taste test of savory Halloween snacks. The Salt Pepper Garlic flavor was the real winner though so it makes this roundup. If you’re having a spooky movie watch party on Halloween, you’re going to need some popcorn. Grab the best killer-themed popcorn around for a garlicky, peppery, and spicy experience that’s more memorable than whatever ’80s slasher is put on.
Member’s Mark Chocolate Halloween Cake Balls
Sam’s Club released these oh, so spooky cake pops for the Halloween season! They feature purple sprinkle chocolate and white eyeball vanilla flavors. Obviously, one is more festive than the other but when Sam is putting this much effort into cake balls you can buy right off the shelf, I can cut them some slack. These are sure to impress at any party and you don’t have to mess with any baking yourself!
