If you’re craving something sweet right now, you’ve got to make a trip to your local Costco. The warehouse retailer is jam-packed with desserts of all kinds — and there’s a wide range of options. You can shop the freshly-made bakery selection, opt for shelf-stable cookies, or even wander through the freezer aisle to pick up ice cream, cheesecakes, and more.

Plus, the dessert selection at Costco is always changing. Recently, a number of exciting new treats arrived in warehouses, including options that work for after dinner or a midmorning snack (yes, I’m firmly on team cake for breakfast). Below, we’re sharing four standout Costco desserts that we’re planning to add to our carts and try this month.
Kirkland Signature Chocolate Chip Cannoli Cake
If you love a rich cannoli, you’re going to want to pick up Costco’s newest cake ASAP. We certainly plan to — the Kirkland Signature Chocolate Chip Cannoli Cake has been spotted in select warehouses, and we can’t wait to get our hands on this pastry-inspired dessert.
The cake is obviously inspired by the Italian pastry it’s named for, featuring layers of white cake lightly spiced with cinnamon and covered in a cannoli cream frosting that incorporates mascarpone and ricotta cheeses. It’s finished with chocolate chips and a true cannoli right on top, so you’ll get the best of both worlds: a rich cake and a crunchy, sweet cannoli.
Dotcakes Classic Vanilla and Chocolate Cakes Cups
Dotcakes have gone viral online, and it sure seems like they’re the latest viral dessert — and they certainly are fun. If you’ve been dying to get your hands on one of the official Dotcakes from New York-based bakery The Dotcakes like us, you’ll need to stop by Costco. The famous cakes are now being sold in a six-pack, giving you a chance to see if they live up to their hype.
Each pack of mini cakes features the viral colorful sprinkle coating paired with either vanilla or chocolate cake. Now, we won’t need to find a recipe to whip up our own; the nut- and sesame-free cakes are readily available. The hardest part will be tracking down which of your local Costco stores still has them in stock.
Kirkland Signature Lemon Cream Caramelized Croissant
Costco’s caramelized croissants may sound like they’re a breakfast-adjacent item, but trust us: These croissants are so decadent and sweet that you’ll find yourself reaching for them for snacks or after-dinner sweets. Rich enough to stand on their own like a cupcake or slice of cake, the latest iteration is one we can’t wait to try (and promptly eat in its entirely in a matter of days).
The Kirkland Signature Lemon Cream Caramelized Croissant is one treat we’re definitely picking up. It features the same light, flaky pastry layers as you’d expect in a traditional croissant, plus a sweet lemon filling and a crunchy, caramelized underside thanks to a coating of browned sugar. It’s buttery, it’s rich, it’s creamy, and we hear that it’s perhaps one of the best baked goods Costco has released (at least this year!).
Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Bar Cake
This bar cake isn’t a brand-new Costco arrival; rather, it began appearing in warehouses in late August and early September, just as pumpkin spice season kicked off. But as Thanksgiving approaches, we’re tasting all the pumpkin-flavored treats while they’re still around — and Costco’s Kirkland Signature Pumpkin Bar Cake is one of the best.
We’re adding the Pumpkin Bar Cake to our carts because it’s sweet and oh-so-decadent. It weighs an impressive 2.5 pounds and can be cut up into roughly 20 slices, which offers plenty of mileage. It’s seasoned with warm, autumnal spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, plus plenty of pumpkin mousse, and the thick frosting on top is a total treat.
