If you love a stacked, overly-stuffed sandwich that includes multiple condiments, the food holiday you’ve been waiting for is here: National Sandwich Day.

National Sandwich Day is an annual foodie holiday that falls on November 3. Why November 3? Well, that’s the birthday of John Montagu, the fourth Earl of Sandwich and the reported inventor of sandwiches. So, each year, restaurants famous for their sandwiches and sandwich-like concoctions celebrate by discounting the iconic food for you to enjoy.

And this year, beloved sandwich restaurants, fast food chains, and more are getting in on the National Sandwich Day fun with plenty of discounts and deals.

Farmer Boys

You’re going to want to make sure you’re signed up with the Farmer Boys rewards program ahead of National Sandwich Day, because this restaurant is offering a members-only deal.

Members of the Farmer Boys VIF program can pick up a Bacon Turkey Melt for just $5.99 in-store or online on November 3. The offer is limited to one sandwich per member (but it is free to join and redeem the deal).

Firehouse Subs

If you’re a sub fan, stop by Firehouse Subs on November 3. This restaurant is celebrating National Sandwich Day by offering diners a free medium sub sandwich with any purchase of at least $15.

You can tap this offer whether you order in-store or via the app, and all sandwiches are included (yes, even limited-time seasonal ones like the Thanksgiving Turkey Sub).

McAlister’s Deli

If you’re a member of McAlister’s Rewards, the rewards program for McAlister’s Deli, then you can score a sandwich for less before and during National Sandwich Day.

Starting October 30, diners who stop by a McAlister’s Deli location and are members of the rewards program can pick up a regular sandwich for just $5. The deal runs through November 3, and there are no minimums to meet in order to take advantage of it.

Schlotzsky’s

If you’re feeling particularly hungry — or just simply love sandwiches an awful lot — Schlotzsky’s has a National Sandwich Day offer that’ll fill you up. In fact, this deal kicks off early, so you can nab it starting in October.

From October 31 through November 3, Schlotzsky’s is offering its rewards program members an exclusive deal. Get a medium sandwich for just $5 when you place an order in-store or online.

But here’s where it gets even better: This National Sandwich Day deal doesn’t stop at one sandwich. You can order up to 10 medium-size sandwiches per member (and per order) and get each one for $5.

Subway

Subway is a classic sandwich spot, so it’s no surprise that this restaurant is offering a great deal on National Sandwich Day. Sub Club members can take advantage of a buy one, get one free offer on footlong subs when ordering online or via the app.

Oh, and there’s one more perk: Subway’s National Sandwich Day deal runs well past November 3. You can actually take advantage of the buy one, get one free offer through November 8, meaning that’s a full five deals of double the subs.
