Aldi is the budget grocery store that we can’t get enough of. For good reason. They’re putting out high-quality foods at a low price point. Consistently. That’s just what they do and they do a dang good job of it. Trust us. We’ve done our fair share of taste tests of entire categories of food at Aldi. Which means we’re just the people to tell you about the Aldi finds that are so impressively well done that you’d think they’d cost a fortune. If you didn’t know any better. Which you do, because you’re here. Look at you go!

Specially Selected Super Premium Vanilla Ice Cream

This is a dead ringer dupe for Haagen-Dazs’ vanilla ice cream. Ringing in at $5.49 for a 48oz container, you’re getting 3x the ice cream for the same price as the name brand. That is absolutely bonkers. This dense, super creamy and indulgent ice cream is not only a killer deal but it’s the best Aldi ice cream you can buy.

Emporium Selection Not Your Average Cheddar Cheddar & Parmesan

This is Aldi’s attempt at replicating the magic that is Trader Joe’s Unexpected Cheddar. While it’s not better than the TJ version, it’s still dang good on its own. Its savory, tangy cheddar flavors are balanced out by the funky-sweet parmesan notes. This is cheesemonger levels of indulgence at an Aldi price point. You better hold onto the wrapper for this one if you’re putting it out on a charcuterie board. It’s so dang good that you’ll need proof that it’s an Aldi find.

Specially Selected Premium Marinara Sauce

I’m not saying Rao’s marinara sauce is the pinnacle of all marinara sauces. I’m just saying that it’s certainly the best jarred version you can find. This Aldi’s version would match Rao’s in a blind taste test, that’s how similar they are. It’s oily in a good way. It’s not too sweet and not too salty. And it rings up for almost $4 cheaper than a jar of Rao’s. It may not be your nonna’s pasta sauce but it’ll still give you a pasta night worth remembering for a cheap price.

Moser Roth Toffee Crunch Chocolate Bar

A chocolate bar from Aldi has no right being this good. The creamy chocolate is studded with tiny bits of toffee. The resulting experience is a wonderful, crackly texture that delivers pops of burnt sugar flavor. We found the toffee debris to be perfectly dispersed throughout. One bite of this chocolate bar will transport you to the heart of Belgium.

Specially Selected Sauvignon Blanc

Aldi’s out here slinging actual noteworthy bottles of wine for under $10. I’m not surprised by the fact but we really do just have to soak that one in. This bottle of white is tart with touches of lime, passionfruit, and white grapefruit flavors while still leaning towards the bright and crisp side. You’d be hard pressed to find a glass of wine for this price point at a restaurant, let alone an entire bottle.
