7 Brew Wants To Fuel Your School Drop-Offs

7 Brew’s never been a chain to sit on its hands. If anything, this coffee (and I use that word incredibly loosely, considering that its coffee plays second fiddle to its seemingly endless list of other flavors) joint is a little too quick to give people anything they want, with its secret menu allowing you to customize your drinks to any specification whatsoever. What happened to “leave them wanting more,” huh, guys?!

And its core menu is similarly brisk: At the start of this month, we got a bunch of new drinks in its summer line-up, and it’s just announced a host of additional beverages, designed to make dropping your kids off at school a little bit easier. Here’s what’s going on. 

Back To Brew

Yesterday, 7 Brew announced “Back to Brew,” and with it, “five nostalgic flavors inspired by the excitement, traditions, and sweet memories of heading back to school” (so sayeth its press release). The idea, we guess, is that these drinks will help you, the customer, ease your way into early mornings or mid-afternoon pickups with hungry kids in the back. We can think of worse reasons to debut a new menu. 

As for that menu, 7 Brew is offering up: 

• Cherry Limeade 7 Brew Energy: A combo of sweet cherry, lime, and lemon with an energy base.
• Sweet & Salty Macchiato: Like your coffee sweet? Like, really sweet? With caramel drizzle, salted caramel, and white chocolate flavors, this one’s for you. 
• Tiki Tango 7 Fizz Soda: Pineapple and passion fruit come together in a refreshing soda, designed to make you dream of that tropical holiday you just had. Hey, there’s always next year. 
• Banana Bread Cold Brew: If you’ve ever wanted to drink banana bread – cold, caffeinated banana bread at that – now you can. Cold brew, banana, hazelnut, cold foam, and a dark chocolate drizzle. 
• Bubble Gum Lemonade: Nostalgic vibes right here. Strawberry, banana, and vanilla flavors all come together in lemonade form. 

And When Can I Enjoy These Drinks?

From tomorrow. 7 Brew’s new menu arrives on August 1 and will be around for the whole month. And on August 7, the chain’s once again running Jackpot Day: From 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening (get it? 777?), you can get two medium drinks for $9. Given that some of its medium drinks can sometimes run up to $8 apiece, this deal ain’t bad.
