There’s a lot to love about Clancy’s Cinnamon Churros at Aldi. First of all, there aren’t that many sweet snacks in the chip aisle—these fried twists have the crunch of a savory snack (not to gross you out, but they’re almost like pork rinds minus the pork) but they’re coated in cinnamon sugar, so they’re clearly dessert. An entire bag of these crispy twists costs less than $2. And you probably could have guessed what Clancy’s was going for by looking at these things, but word on Reddit is that they’re a pretty faithful dupe for a Taco Bell staple.

Fans say Clancy’s Cinnamon Churros = Taco Bell Cinnamon Twists

Just last month, we made note of the fact that Clancy’s Cinnamon Churros were returning to stores. What we didn’t know at the time is that their popularity and fandom run deep. Aldi’s been selling these on and off for a few years, and every time they come back, people jump at the chance to replenish their pantries. The light and crunchy cinnamon-loaded bites are hard to resist.

Their existence was news to the OP, who wrote, “I’m losing my mind over these! We just picked them up tonight and my husband and I were so surprised to find that they’re exactly like the cinnamon twists from Taco Bell. We never knew these existed, and the bargain of getting this big bag versus what you can get at TB is crazy. This is my favorite Aldi find yet…”

But not everyone is quite as impressed. Apparently, Clancy’s Cinnamon Twists are sweetened with sucralose, an alternative sweetener that can tend to have a saccharine aftertaste. One commenter wrote, “I was SO stoked for these and the grossness of the artificial sweetener was just…disappointing. I threw the bag away, mostly full because no one else liked it either.”

You’ll have to try them for yourself to see what you think, but you’ll have to do it fast. These are always a limited item, so there’s no telling how long they’ll be in stores, especially when it’s a popular product and people are buying multiple bags.

“But Vinz, my favorite part about Taco Bell’s twists is that they’re piping hot!”

Let me introduce you to the air fryer! Pop your Cinnamon Churros into the air fryer for a few minutes and then enjoy! Plus, that gives you time to heat up your other Taco Bell dupe from Aldi, the Casa Mamita Layered Beef Tostada that looks kinda like a Mexican Pizza.
