America, you party animal. Just as we’re coming off of the Fourth of July celebrations, where hopefully you didn’t have too much fun with those fireworks, we’ve got another holiday coming up. We’re, of course, talking about National Fried Chicken Day. Now, let’s address the elephant in the room―is this a real holiday? You’re probably not getting time off for this one, so technically no? But look, any excuse we have to eat fried chicken and get exclusive deals is a win in our book. So let’s just agree that July 6th is a real holiday and, luckily for you, we’ve gathered the best National Fried Chicken Day deals to help you celebrate.

Bonchon

We’re starting off with some of the lesser-known names in the biz. The ultra-craveable Korean fried chicken franchise is offering $5 off purchases of $15 or more―and that’s an easy amount to reach if you add some Bibimbap and a cold, refreshing Cucumber Salad to your chicken-fried order (use promo code “GET5OFF”).

Jollibee

In honor of this nation’s (and globe’s) insatiable craving for fried chicken, Jollibee will be giving both new and existing Rewards members 2 extra pieces of their “Chickenjoy” fried chicken with the purchase of a 10-piece bucket.

Hangry Joe’s

Hangry Joe’s tends to do BOGOs and $2 tenders, but if you are actually hangry (it’s a dangerous physio-psychological state) you also just download the Hangry Joe’s app right now and enjoy a BOGO “Sando Initiation” offer.

White Castle

Inevitably, White Castle’s National Fried Chicken Day deal is slider-shaped, with a BOGO on their Crispy Chicken Slider (with promo code CRISPY). We’re not sure if the deal applies, but bring some breath mints if you opt for their new flavor-packed Garlic Chicken Parm Slider.

Dave’s Hot Chicken

While Dave’s doesn’t officially participate in National Fried Chicken Day, there are already plenty of deals to choose from―a good option if you love Nashville hot chicken flavors and don’t freak out when you see terms like “Reaper” on a menu heat level scale.

Zaxby’s

Zaxby’s also tends to offer a BOGO on National Fried Chicken Day, but you don’t necessarily have to wait and see―grab up this limited time deal of five free chicken “fingerz” with any $5 purchase. The catch? You need to sign up for their rewards program.

Church’s Chicken

You kinda can’t go wrong with words like “chicken” and “church” in the name of this beloved chain, especially when they’re offering their rewards members a free 2-piece leg and thigh with any purchase of $10 or more. (FYI, the same deal applies if you sign up.)

Whataburger

Another gift for Rewards members, one of our favorite chains here at Sporked is offering its Signature Whatachick’n Sandwich for just $2.

KFC

You’ve got more time to grab this KFC deal. Get a 12-piece (dark meat chicken on the bone only) for $15 until July 11th. You’ll need to purchase online at KFC.com or in the app through your KFC Rewards account.

Popeyes

Popeyes is teaming up with DoorDash. Until July 15th, DashPass members can get a BOGO 4-piece Signature Bone-In Chicken and BOGO Chicken sandwiches. If you don’t have DashPass, there’s still a deal for you―BOGO 3-piece Signature Bone-In Chicken.
