The rumors are true: Cheez-It partnered with Wendy’s to release a Baconator–inspired Cheez-It. Finally, these two titans of “being square” are working together. The good folks at Cheez-It were nice enough to send over an early box—wrapped in real Wendy’s burger foil, no less. Will these crackers have me craving a Biggie Bag or just asking, “Where’s the beef?”
Where can I get Wendy’s Baconator Cheez-Its?
Wendy’s Baconator Cheez-It crackers will hit shelves this July. Depending on your timing, you may be able to snag a box post-restock at CheezIt.com while supplies last. I’ve been told using the code CHEEZBURGER will knock the shipping down to free as well. If you can wait a few weeks, you should be able to find this wherever fine Cheez-It products are sold—so, pretty much everywhere.
Is Wendy’s doing too much?
I wasn’t going to say anything, but since you brought it up…Wendy’s, are you good? A couple years ago, you started selling canned chili—more power to you. Last month, you started selling your burger patties and bacon strips at my local Kroger. Did you forget you run a fast food chain? If you’re going to work with Cheez-It crackers, use them to coat a chicken nugget or something. Please get back to your roots.
