Well friends, it’s officially July. Our butts are sticking to every seat we plant them on, America’s birthday is just around the corner, and, yes, July Aldi finds are finally hitting the shelves. Now you may be wondering, “Jessica, what kinds of Aldi finds did you Aldi found?” To which I would say hold on to your Aldi merch hat (they had those at some point) because the Aldi finds are about to blow your Aldi mind (or maybe they won’t, depends how excitable you are. Our minds, however, were blown). So without further ado, here are six mid-summer Aldi finds we can’t wait to try.

Sundae Shoppe Premium Ice Cream Pints Dreamsicle and Cotton Candy (Available Now, $2.99)

One thing about me? I will never say no to a whimsical ice cream flavor, and boy did Aldi deliver on that front this year. We are getting not one but two flavors: cotton candy and dreamsicle (a flavor so whimsical it even almost rhymes with whimsical…sort of). These are some of the most summer-coded flavors we could have asked for, and to be honest, they look pretty fun. The dreamsicle ice cream is orange cream flavored ice cream (classy, simple, elegant) and the cotton candy flavor features “premium vanilla ice cream with cotton candy flavor and a frosting swirl (classy, simple, elegant). As a very serious real adult, I’m stoked for both.

Southern Grove Cotton Candy Flavored Trail Mix (Available Now, $4.89)

Speaking of me being a very serious adult, sometimes trail mix is too childish. Raisins? Infantile. Cashews? Gauche. M&Ms? Blech, how tacky. Give me cotton candy trail mix or give me death, I say! Now, what does this Aldi cotton candy trail mix have in it? So glad you asked. It’s got peanuts, vanilla crème-flavored almonds, cotton candy and lemon-flavored fizzy clusters (what even is this?!?), yogurt-flavored covered raisins, strawberry-flavored confection drops, and shortbread chips. Yes, you read that right, this is basically a bag of nuts, sugar, and cookies, and I do in fact want it right the heck now…mature adult that I am.

Berryhill Strawberry Guava, Pineapple Coconut, or Raspberry Lychee Jam (Available Now, $2.99)

These jams, simply put, are my jam. Now I have not yet tried them, but come on. Lychee raspberry? Tell me how that could possibly be bad. Plus, pineapple coconut jam kind of sounds like it would hit HARD in a midwestern ambrosia salad.  And strawberry guava? Ugh, slap it on a shortbread cookie and call me in the morning. I would like to collect these tropical jams like sticky jarred Pokémon, and if I had an Aldi near me, I would absolutely exercise my right to do so.

Mama Cozzi’s Chorizo Chipotle Fire Party Flatbread (Available 7/16, $6.99)

I mean, this just looks like a smoky-sweet, salty, warm, gooey good time. This flatbread consists of chipotle tomato sauce, low-moisture mozzarella and Monterey jack cheeses, jalapeño peppers, and chorizo sausage on a flatbread crust. It’s truly just a pizza with smoky-spicy sauce, hot peppers, and chorizo on it, but let’s be real, they had us all at “chipotle tomato sauce” and then continued to have us at “chorizo.”

Kirkwood Chicken Parmesan Bites (Available 7/16, $6.99)

Hi, it’s me. I’m back. Sophisticated adult here. Y’all, these are exactly what they sound like: chicken nuggets that come stuffed with cheese and tomato sauce. It’s like if popcorn chicken, chicken parm, and Gushers had a breaded, savory, toasty-tasting baby just for our convenience. These are to chicky chicky parm parm what dibs are to ice cream bars, and hey, the minute I can get these at the pool or the movies will be the minute I believe society has maxed out in the advancedness department.

Alfredo Stuffed Gnocchi (Available 7/16, $3.49)

Speaking of Italian foods made into bite-sized little Gushers, Aldi is making alfredo sauce stuffed gnocchi this summer, and no this is not a drill. If you like gnocchi, love alfredo sauce, and hate messes or love frying or baking your gnocchis, then hoo boy have you got to try these. I bet these would be great baked, fried, air-fried, or even boiled. I don’t think there is an end to uses for them, they look like tater tots if tater tots were made using the Pringles method of potato-fication, where you mash them all up first. All that is to say, these look bomb and I want them now.
