The Best Greek Salad Dressing Even Yaya Will Love

The best Greek salad dressing is rich, tangy, and packed with herbs. When we sat down to try Greek dressing for this taste test, we wanted high quality oil, tart vinegar or lemon juice, and plenty of dried oregano, although garlic, pepper, and feta cheese were welcome additions, too. We were looking for a dressing that would perfectly coat chunks of cucumber, tomato, and red onion in a Greek salad or plain ol’ romaine lettuce in an everyday tossed salad. Just make sure to shake the bottle first!

We tried every brand of Greek salad dressing we could get our hands on to find the best Greek dressing you can buy. We ordered niche brands from Amazon and bought popular brands at our local grocery stores. The results were very, very delicious.

Most Unique

Farmer Boy Greek Salad Dressing

This Greek salad dressing is unique because it has a distinct sweetness many others lack. It’s unlike anything else I tried in this taste test, but I really liked it! I think the sugary nature would pair super well with fresh tomatoes. If you’d prefer your Greek salad dressing to have less tang, this is a great option for you.

Best Robust

Gazebo Room Greek Salad Dressing & Marinade

MSG is a beautiful thing. It makes the flavors in this Gazebo Room Greek Salad Dressing really pop. It’s salty, super savory, and would make any raw vegetable sing. It would also be a wonderful marinade for meat or fish. In my opinion, this is one of the best Greek dressing choices you can make when shopping at the grocery store. MSG! MSG! MSG!

Best Simple

Yasou! The Original Greek Dressing

This brand calls itself the “original Greek salad dressing.” Is that true? I have absolutely no clue. Does it taste so good that I’d believe it’s the first bottled Greek salad dressing ever made? Yeah! It’s so simple, but something about it just works. It’s just oils, vinegar, and seasonings, but it tastes complex. I would absolutely buy this light, bright, and gently herby salad dressing again.

Best Olive Oil

Ken’s Simply Vinaigrette Greek Salad Dressing

Is Ken Greek? After tasting this dressing, my guess is yes! This has such a wonderful olive oil flavor. It tastes like you made Greek dressing at home with expensive olive oil you purchased at an olive oil store. Why not just do that? Fancy olive oil is expensive and making dressing at home creates dirty dishes. This bottle cuts down on cost, effort, and time. Buy it the next time you’re craving Mediterranean food.

Best of the Best

Girard’s Greek Feta Vinaigrette

How can this not be the best Greek dressing? It has feta cheese in it! Not only does the cheese add great salt, tang, and creaminess to this Greek salad dressing, but it also helps you make a quick and easy Greek salad. You don’t have to buy feta cheese or worry about it going bad. It’s built in! Another small bonus is that you don’t have to shake this bottle much because it isn’t as oily. Despite the differences, this Greek salad dressing is still tangy, rich, and filled with oregano. I don’t know who Girard is, but I want to thank him for making the best Greek salad dressing on the market.
