What’s the best High Noon flavor? If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve already got your top three picks from this California-based hard seltzer brand mentally lined up. But do your favorites hold up to the scrutiny of our professional (California-based) taste testers? Let’s find out.

We’ve ranked plenty of hard seltzer brands over the years—Truly, White Claw, even Bud Light Seltzers—and now, it’s high time we finally tackle the best High Noon flavors. Since its launch  in 2019, High Noon has amassed quite the cult following. After this taste test, I totally get it. In general, their hard seltzers have a freshness that’s hard to find in other hard seltzers, because they contain real fruit juice, real spirits, and they’re low sugar without being artificially sweetened. The flavors taste bright but subtle. The vibes are immaculate, to be honest.

And hey, if you don’t want to take my word for it, you can watch our editor-in-chief Justine Sterling and Mythical’s very own Emily Fleming taste test them in the video and see their unedited reactions. If you do want to take my word for it, well, keep reading. From tropical tequila mixes to crisp, refreshing vodka seltzers, here are the ten best High Noon flavors that really do feel like sippin’ on sunshine.

Black Cherry Vodka

Best High Noon!

Black Cherry Vodka

Let’s go ahead and call Black Cherry Vodka my controversial pick. It’s sour and tart, but still slightly sweet—basically what you’re supposed to get with black cherry. The cherry isn’t medicinal, but it does linger on your tongue. You definitely have to like cherry to drink the whole (or even half) the can. Luckily, that isn’t a problem for me! (Might not be the best High Noon flavor for you, though.)

Best High Noon!

Cranberry Vodka

It’s hard to mess up cranberry and vodka (the devil’s duo, as I like to call it). But this isn’t as simple as a spritz of cranberry juice in seltzer water. On the finish, there’s an element of tangy citrus to it that almost gives it a twist of apple juice. It’s definitely not as tart as some may be used to, but that’s sort of the brilliance here. High Noon seltzers have a way of delivering on the flavors they promise, but also subverting expectations just enough to keep things interesting.

Blood Orange Tequila

Best High Noon!

Blood Orange Tequila

Blood Orange strikes the perfect citrusy orange note with every sip. (We likened it to Orangina.) You can actually taste the tequila in all of High Noon’s tequila flavors, too. It’s grassy, subtly sweet, and a little richer than the blank canvas of vodka—though their vodka-based drinks are still pretty great in their own right. But with all of those flavor notes together, Blood Orange is complex. It hits with a bright zing as the bubbles prickle your mouth, and the flavor doesn’t really let up between sips. If you’re looking for a seltzer that’s slightly more intense, this is the best High Noon flavor to reach for.

Prickly Pear

Best High Noon!

Prickly Pear

Not to make everything about me, but Prickly Pear is definitely the best High Noon flavor for my sour-seeking taste buds. I’m only putting it lower on the list to please the masses since, admittedly, this bolder High Noon seltzer isn’t for everyone. It’s vibrant and tart, like a kiwi; one sip instantly wakes you up. In the video, you’ll see Emily compare it to a Green Apple Jolly Rancher, and she’s totally right. It might not be the closest thing to real prickly pear you can get, but it’s still one of the best High Noon flavors out there, no doubt about it.

Peach Tea

Best High Noon!

Vodka Iced Tea Peach

Snapple fans, this one’s for you. High Noon’s Peach Tea smells exactly like Snapple Peach Tea, and definitely tastes a little bit like it, too. It’s not as intensely sweet as Snapple by any means, but it does have depth, a smooth iced tea flavor, and a pretty punchy peach. Oh, and High Noon teas aren’t carbonated, either—so if that’s a selling point for you, definitely try it!

Original Tea High Noon

Best High Noon!

Original Vodka Iced Tea

High Noon’s OG Tea really surprised me. It’s velvety smooth, and the overall flavor is so mellow. Where you expect bitter tea, you instead get a rounded, slightly earthy finish. It isn’t carbonated, which makes this all too easy to straight-up swig. Many different people had a taste of this one (I was cracking these open during work hours—the entire office came by to “visit” me), and a few detected a hint of metallic flavor, which admittedly is present. But I’m very willing to overlook it. It’s a small price to pay for one of the best High Noon flavors.

Grapefruit Tequila High Noon

Best High Noon!

Grapefruit Tequila

This leans sweet for a grapefruit hard seltzer, and you know what? It totally works. (And that’s coming from someone who really can’t handle her sugar.) Instead of tart and overly bitter, this High Noon seltzer is crisp, tangy, and refreshing. The flavors blend really well with the agave notes in the blanco tequila, too.

Lime Tequila Seltzer High Noon

Best High Noon!

Lime Tequila Seltzer

Sporked Justine Sterling said it best: “A canned tequila drink should taste like tequila.” And that’s what makes High Noon’s Lime Tequila pretty perfect—especially if you’re a blanco tequila lover. It’s strong, zingy, and easily the best High Noon flavor for anyone who actually likes to taste the alcohol in their hard seltzers.

Lemon Vodka High Noon

Best High Noon!

Lemon Vodka

Lemon-flavored hard seltzer just works, and High Noon’s Lemon Vodka illustrates that. This breezy, refreshing vodka seltzer captures the crisp, zesty tang of freshly squeezed lemon mixed with the clean finish of quality vodka. Out of all the best High Noon flavors, this one, to me, tastes the most like true sunshine. But if you can believe it, there’s one we loved even more.

Mango Vodka High Noon

Best High Noon!

Mango Vodka

With its ripe, smooth, mellow mango flavor, High Noon Mango Vodka is hands down the best High Noon flavor you can buy. It has a creaminess that makes it taste almost like a mango sorbet. (I really don’t know how they manage it without making this flavor taste too sweet, but they do!) This High Noon seltzer is rich, tropical, and incredibly satisfying, like a mini vacation with every sip. I’m not lying when I say this is my new go-to hard seltzer for literally any occasion. It’s that good!
