Best Keto Desserts: 3 You’ll Love if You’re on the Keto Diet

The best keto desserts are low in sugar, high in fat, and, ideally, don’t taste absolutely terrible. Personally, I hate the keto diet, a high-fat dietary plan that (purportedly) forces your body to burn fat rather than carbohydrates, mostly because so many products that are labeled keto-friendly taste bad. How could eating a bunch of things that taste like chemicals and sugar substitutes be good for you?

All the same, I still have to review keto products here at Sporked from time to time. But who better to review them than a keto hater? I’m able to be super critical and honest. Plus, I know what real sugar tastes like.

We tried many keto-friendly desserts and while most were horrific, these three are the best keto desserts to buy if you’re in need of a treat while partaking in the keto diet.

Best of the Best

Simply Nature Organic Keto Dark Chocolate Coconut Clusters

Of everything we tried, these taste the most like real food, and that’s all it takes to be named the best keto dessert. Simply Nature Organic Keto Dark Chocolate Coconut Clusters promise two things: coconut and dark chocolate. They deliver on both accounts, plus they’re nice and crunchy. The downsides are that they’re a little waxy and have a tiny bit of a fake sugar aftertaste, but that’s to be expected with keto products. If you handed me a bag of these, I wouldn’t necessarily know they’re specifically keto, though. What more could you want from a diet product?!

Best Chocolate

ChocZero Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Keto Bark

ChocZero’s Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Keto Bark tastes like a Toblerone had a baby with a latex glove. Shockingly, that’s not the worst thing in the world, especially compared to competitors on the market The hazelnut flavor helps cover up the taste of the fake sugar, which I think is smart! And the texture is very nice. It’s a little crunchy and the chocolate melts in your mouth. A nice added bonus is that it’s soy free. I wouldn’t buy it, but I’m certainly not mad at it!

Best Cookie

Catalina Crunch Vanilla Creme Sandwich Cookie

These smell delicious and that was hard to find in a keto dessert. Most smell artificial, like a cardboard box full of chemicals. And it wasn’t just the smell we didn’t mind—they tasted pretty okay, too! You definitely get fake sugar in a Coke Zero kind of way, but if you’re on the keto diet and don’t mind that, grab a box of these for a nice after-dinner snack. They’re crunchy and mild and taste totally fine. When the bar is low, that makes these one of the best keto desserts you can buy at the grocery store.
