Best Things We Ate This Week (June 12-16)

Every week, the Sporked team sidles up to the tasting table and sets out to find the absolute best of the best packaged foods, the gold hidden in the grocery aisles. Each week we’ll bring you five standouts that truly rocked our taste buds and changed our lives—or at least our buying habits. Here are the best things we ate this week.

Pringles Harvest Blends Sea Salt Sweet Potato

We like these Harvest Blends Pringles because they are similar to regular Pringles, but different enough that it feels like there’s a point to them. They genuinely taste like sweet potatoes and sea salt. Yum! I would definitely buy these again.

Patricia Quintana Authentic Mexican Chile de Arbol Salsa

If you’re down to splurge a little on your salsa, buy Patricia Quintana’s Authentic Mexican Chile de Arbol Salsa. This spicy, smoky salsa is delicious. This would be wonderful alone with tortilla chips, on tacos, or drizzled over eggs for breakfast.

Red’s Chicken Chorizo Egg & Three Cheese Burrito

This was my favorite breakfast burrito we tried in our breakfast burrito taste test. The full article will be out soon, but in the meantime, buy this breakfast burrito! It’s meaty and gooey and a little spicy. I wish I was eating one of these right now!

Mx. Green Sass Hot Sauce by Shaquanda

This is a super unique hot sauce. It’s a little cumin-y, it’s herbaceous, it is spicy without being too spicy. I can’t imagine something this hot sauce wouldn’t pair well with. You could toss wings in this or use it as the sauce on a taco. It would be awesome on pizza. I might even put it on a baked potato. I’m serious. It would be good on anything!

California Pizza Kitchen Uncured Pepperoni, Mushroom & Sausage Pizza with Cauliflower Crust

If you’re buying a frozen California Pizza Kitchen pizza, you should be buying one of their cauliflower crust pizzas. I can’t believe I’m recommending a gluten-free pizza over a gluten-full pizza, but here we are. The crust is crispy and flavorful, and the sauce it’s slathered with is plentiful. The cheese is gooey. The pepperoni is crispy, and the mushrooms and sausage are juicy. I love this pizza.
