Our long national nightmare is over: Blueberry Pie Oreos are back. If you’ve spent any time on the cookie section of the internet, you know Blueberry Pie Oreos have a very passionate fanbase. After almost a decade in hibernation, Nabisco has revived this fan-favorite flavor to help us cope with this miserably hot summer heat. (I don’t know about you, but I’ll definitely be throwing a few of these in the freezer once I get my hands on them.)
What’s so special about these Oreos?
First off, Blueberry Pie Oreos haven’t been on shelves since 2017. (For context, the top song in 2017 was Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” 2017 was a long time ago.) It’s an understatement to just call these golden cookies; these are graham cracker-flavored cookies surrounding a tangy blueberry creme. I didn’t try these when they first hit shelves, but I’m definitely looking forward to checking them out—and as always, I’ll be bringing you the review ASAP.
And these Blueberry Pie Oreo cookies are…popular?
Buddy, I swear I see a post begging Oreo to bring these back once or twice a week. There are petitions begging Nabisco to bring these cookies back. Per the press release announcing this return, Blueberry Pie Oreos are one of the top five flavors mentioned on social media. Blueberries are definitely an underrated fruit in the field of cookies—they dominate the muffin battlefield, why aren’t we letting them expand into flatter goods?
When and where will I be able to hoard these Oreos?
Starting June 30th you can head to this page to order an early pack while supplies last. If the idea of paying a shipping fee for cookies weirds you out (understandably), these will be available wherever fine Oreo cookies are sold starting on July 9th. This is a limited-time-only release; stay eagle-eyed to make sure you try these before they sell out and disappear for another eight years.
