I’m glad these cookies arrived in an unlabeled box; there are people out there who’d commit crimes to get what I have in my hands today. I received an early pack of the fan-favorite Blueberry Pie Oreos to review. Let’s find out if these are worth all the hype—or if I should be using my platform to demand the return of Marshmallow Moon instead.
What is a Blueberry Pie Oreo?
Blueberry Pie Oreos are, fittingly, made up of graham cracker-flavored cookies and blueberry flavored creme. Graham flavored cookies in an Oreo isn’t anything groundbreaking these days; we last saw them in the excellently-named S’moreos. But, per my research, this is the only blueberry Oreo ever made…in America. I found plenty of pictures of an international Blueberry Ice Cream Oreo that sounds fantastic. Let’s get that one over here next.
New Oreo Flavor!
Review: Blueberry Pie Oreos
Pros: Alright, I get the hype. These Blueberry Pie Oreos are really good. I was hit with a wave of pure blueberry pie aroma the second I opened the package—I was floating through the air like a hungry cartoon wolf. The graham cookie perfectly replicates a pie crust, while the blueberry creme is strong in flavor and color. Why aren’t there more blueberry Oreos? (Also, someone please put this in an ice cream.)
Cons: This is nitpicky, but with so many Oreo cremes being made with some sort of textural inclusion, this one is a little boring. I understand Nabisco’s hesitation; changing anything about this beloved cookie would have caused riots. That said, I’d love to see those little sugar inclusions in the creme next time around to get us all in that “dessert topping sugar” mindset.

Where can I get my hands on a pack of these Blueberry Pie Oreos?
If you need these as fast as possible, Oreo is selling a select batch online starting June 30th on this page. If you can wait just a few weeks more (and come on, it’s been eight years—you can wait), these will be sold wherever fine Oreo cookie variants are sold.
