Burger King Is Bringing Out One Of Its Best Burgers Ever Nationwide

We can pretty confidently say that Burger King has had a good year in terms of customer perception. The chain has spent much of 2026 trying to make things right after a few years of arguably diminishing enthusiasm, and it’s done that by listening to what its diners actually want – and then acting on it. We’ve had a new Whopper, new nugget sauces, new promises…new everything, really. It’s worked: People are feeling positive.

And now, it’s hoping to get in your good books once more by releasing one of its all-time burger bangers across the country – without making a big deal of it. Casually done, BK. Here’s what you need to know. 

Burger King Texas Whopper Lineup

This month, Burger King added its Texas Whopper lineup to its menus across the country, an expansion of a menu that’s previously only been available at select restaurants. The lineup features the Texas Whopper, Texas Double Whopper, and Texas Whopper Jr. – but all of them have the same components, just in different formations and sizes. Think flame-grilled patty, bacon, American cheese, jalapeños, mustard, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. 

This is a smart move from Burger King, considering the customer sentiment around its Texas Whopper sandwiches. “It is sooooo good,” said one person on Reddit about the Double version of this Whopper, with another pointing out that this is a burger that ACTUALLY looks like the picture, concluding that they “could not find anything wrong even if I tried.” Honestly, that kind of positive feeling about a fast-food burger from a massive chain that’s been around for decades is rare. Someone else in the same thread stated that the Double Whopper is “the best fast food burger available and it’s not particularly close.” People love this thing.

BK’s Texas Whopper lineup dropped on September 1, and it’ll be available for a limited time, so get in there before it becomes a more elusive presence at stores once more. To confirm that your local restaurant has it, check its website or app beforehand.
