It’s frozen entrée time in Campbell’s land! The soup brand may be better known for, well…soup (sorry, stating the obvious there), but it also likes to dabble in other things, including frozen meals. That said, these fly slightly under the radar compared to its other products. Until now.

That’s because Campbell’s is, apparently, going big on its latest frozen entrée collection, and it’s just dropped six new options in stores. We’ve got the lowdown on what to expect.

Campbell’s Chunky Frozen Entrées

News of the existence of these new Campbell’s Chunky Frozen Entrées comes courtesy of @candyhunting, an invaluable go-to source for evidence of new products in the wild, particularly when the companies that make said products don’t put out any official info about their existence. @candyhunting was alerted to the products by a follower who saw them at Food City, but our own search of the Walmart, Target, and Kroger websites showed no results…so this might be the kind of thing that only ends up at a few stores, and is more of a “buy it if you see it” kind of thing.

Nonetheless, we’re still talking about them, as we must. The six new entrées are:

  • Chili Mac Bowl: Beef and pork pasta and beans in a chili tomato sauce.
  • Beefy Pasta & Stroganoff Sauce Bowl: Pasta with beef and mushrooms in a creamy sauce.
  • Chicken & Mashed Potatoes Bowl: Crispy chicken over mashed potatoes and gravy with corn.
  • Buffalo-Style Chicken Mac & Cheese Bowl: Crispy chicken & pasta in a buffalo cheese sauce.
  • Bacon Cheeseburger Mac & Cheese Bowl: Beef and pork, jalapeños, bacon & pasta in cheese sauce.
  • Meat Lovers’ Lasagna Bowl: Pasta, beef & pork with ricotta and mozzarella in marinara sauce.

As you can probably tell, Campbell’s is going for protein here – and while these meals don’t exactly knock it out of the park with their protein content, they definitely don’t lack in the stuff. The Chili Mac Bowl has 28 grams of protein, while the lowest, Chicken & Mashed Potatoes, has 20 grams. Not bad!

It’s Chunky Season

This combination of meat, chunky vibes, and protein isn’t just happening across the Campbell’s frozen entrée line: It’s also happening in its soups. The brand recently dropped a collaboration with Buffalo Wild Wings to release its Chunky Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Chicken Noodle Soup, which is a mouthful both in name and in sustenance. Each can has 17 grams of protein, which feels very in keeping with the modern obsession with the nutrient
