Every Chamberlain Coffee Product, Ranked

If you’re a social media fan, or just ever looked over the shoulder of someone browsing Instagram, you’re probably aware of Emma Chamberlain. And while she’s best known as an influencer and model, she’s also a coffee fanatic with her own company, Chamberlain Coffee, that offers small-batch roasted organic beans with adorable animals on the packaging. (Full disclosure: The owl on the Night Owl Blend is actually my spirit animal.) But if we put aside the draw of follower counts and cartoon birds, one important question emerges: How does Chamberlain Coffee actually taste?

To find out, we sampled a range of different Chamberlain Coffees from the ground coffee blends to the pre-made, canned oat milk lattes, to find the tastiest offerings for you. Here’s our official Chamberlain coffee review, ranking of all the Chamberlain coffee out there, from least favorite to most favorite.

This medium roast blend was, well, “medium” to me. Overall, it was flavorful, with a good body and a rich flavor, but it was just a little “meh,” especially compared to the other blends I tried. But if you’re not sure what kind of coffee you’re in the mood for, you’re probably in the mood for this one.

Chamberlain Coffee Early Bird Blend

This light roast blend is definitely “light” with a soft, sweet flavor and very little bitterness. So, why is this Chamberlain Coffee so low on the list? Well, to be honest, I’m one of those coffee freaks who LOVES a heavy coffee taste, and this read as a little weak to me. But if you’re the type who wants to avoid the bitter taste of coffee oils, you might want to wake up to this Chamberlain Coffee, especially since it has the highest caffeine rating of the ones we tried.

Chamberlain Coffee Social Dog Blend

A medium roast blend with a darker taste and a little more bitterness than the others, Social Dog still has some notes of sweetness that balances it out. It’s got a heavy body and a little less caffeine than the Early Bird, but is still packed with plenty of pep. Honestly, this is the one that I would choose to wake me up for work.

Chamberlain Coffee Careless Cat Blend

This medium roast blend is half-caffeinated, and is smoother than the social dog. It’s a mellow blend that’s a little sweet, but still packs a lot of traditional coffee flavor. It struck me as a good afternoon sipping coffee, when you need a little jolt of caffeine to get through your 3pm nap time, but not so much that you’re vibrating out of your seat. (Everyone else does that, right? It’s not just me?)

This dark roast blend has a rich, full taste that gives you a lot of coffee punch, with just a hint of honey sweetness to round it out. This one was definitely my favorite Chamberlain Coffee blend. And with a listed caffeine level that’s slightly higher than half-caf, it’s a great evening sipping coffee that’ll keep you awake, but not too awake.

Chamberlain Coffee Vanilla Latte with Oatmilk

Vanilla Latte

Chamberlain Coffee Vanilla Latte with Oatmilk

As you may have noticed, all of the Chamberlain Coffee lattes are at the top of this list. That’s because I just found them a little tastier (and more interesting) than the ground coffee. This one was probably the most straight-forward of the bunch, with a classic traditional vanilla flavor, which blends well with the creamy coffee. The biggest surprise for me was how it didn’t have the teeth-hurting sweetness you get in a lot of bottled or canned lattes. At 12 grams of sugar and a bottle blurb reading “sweeter recipe,” I expected to be drinking candy, but the sweetness never overpowered the vanilla or coffee, leaving a bright flavor that really went down smooth.

Chamberlain Coffee Mocha Latte with Oatmilk

I assumed this one would have a heavy chocolate syrup taste, but it was also surprisingly restrained, reminding me more of light chocolate accents on a base of bright, sweet coffee. It also wasn’t overly sugary, with just enough to sweeten the cocoa and coffee without being cloying. Overall, it’s just really tasty.

Chamberlain Coffee Cinnamon Bun Latte with Oatmilk

This canned latte almost reminded me of horchata, with a sweet cinnamon flavor that took center stage over the coffee. The oat milk really gave it a creamy consistency that almost made me forget it was a coffee drink, but in a good way. It was definitely the most unique of the Chamberlain Coffee lattes I tried. And the one that I’m most curious to try again.

Chamberlain Coffee Salted Caramel Latte with Oatmilk

For me, the best of the bunch was this salted caramel treat, which gave me some great toasty, caramel flavor, paired with some rich, coffee goodness. Of the four Chamberlain Coffee lattes I tried, this one definitely had the best blend of flavor and coffee, with the two really blending together to make a tasty, delicious drink. I wish I had another one right now.
