For an all-too-brief period earlier this year, Red Bull Spring Edition 2026: Cherry Sakura graced shelves nationwide. We had just two months to enjoy this exotic, floral energy drink before it was replaced with Red Bull Summer Edition 2026: Sudachi Lime. Luckily for us, Red Bull loves promoting seasonal editions to the year-round lineup under a new name. Case in point, Cherry Sakura Red Bull is returning for good as the Cherry Edition…just not in America.

Where is Red Bull Cherry Sakura becoming permanent?
Per the brand’s Instagram, Red Bull Cherry Edition is now available permanently across the United Kingdom. Yes, the British will be enjoying this Japanese Red Bull flavor for the foreseeable future. That said, if you fell in love with the sugarfree version of this year’s Spring Edition, you’re still out of luck; the flavor is only returning to U.K. shelves in full sugar.
Will we ever see Red Bull Cherry Sakura return permanently in America?
At the moment, there’s nothing to suggest that Red Bull Cherry Sakura will return to shelves domestically, but I’ll keep digging for rumors. Weirdly enough, I haven’t heard anything about which Red Bull flavors are in danger of being discontinued in the near future. Normally, I hear the vultures circling those flavors long before the killing blow is struck. Maybe Red Bull really is cracking down on leaks like I was told back in January…
Has Red Bull revived any other recent seasonal editions for good?
Yes, and it’s one I’m even more jealous of. Back in March, Red Bull UK announced that Winter Edition 2025: Fuji Apple & Ginger was returning for good as the Apple Edition—beautiful red-to-yellow gradient and all. I’ve been clamoring for the return of last year’s Winter Edition since the first day I drank it, so it’s promising to see it back on shelves. Red Bull likes to do their big slate shake-ups at the beginning of each year, but I wouldn’t complain about a mid-year update if it meant we’d get Fuji Apple & Ginger back on shelves sooner. (Someone will complain, though; every Red Bull flavor, no matter how unpopular, is someone’s favorite.)
