You know what? I like Culver’s style. The restaurant chain doesn’t release new items every other week in what feels like a fairly scattergun, reactive fashion, unlike some other fast food ventures I could reel off here; instead, it sets a plan, and then executes it, steadily and surely. What this has meant for 2026, the year of its Pub Burger project, is that every few months, we’ve seen a new sandwich land: This summer, we saw its Buttery Parmesan Pub Burger tested in certain locations, while its Fried Pickles Pub Burger arrived to round out the warm weather. We may not have loved that burger, but we appreciated it.

Now, there’s another Pub Burger to discuss – and people who are already missing their summer BBQs will be pleased about this one. If they can find it, that is.
Culver’s BBQ Brisket Pub Burger
As Allrecipes reports, Culver’s is currently testing a new BBQ Brisket Pub Burger, and it looks as hearty and filling as they come. Each burger combines a beef patty with sliced brisket, Wisconsin cheddar cheese, pickles, and sweet BBQ sauce, all in a toasted, cornmeal-dusted potato bun. You can get it as a double, too, if you’re really hungry.
Fast food brisket can be famously hit and miss, and for every win (like Panda Express’ Cantonese BBQ Brisket), there’s a mixed bag (like Chipotle’s Mesquite-Smoked Brisket). So, how does Culver’s own meat fare? So far, it looks as though it’s getting a warm response – although it’s fair to say it’s not a universal win. Some people love the smokiness and tenderness of the brisket, and also the sheer fact that it’s not yet another bacon-and-beef combo, while others have said that it errs on the fatty, thin side. That said, we probably shouldn’t be expecting burger places to produce world-class brisket in the first place…but maybe don’t expect perfection, is what I’m saying.
And Where Can I Find It?
Ah. Here’s the kicker. Like the Buttery Parmesan Pub Burger we talked about above, Culver’s BBQ Brisket Pub Burger is, at the moment, a limited, small-scale release. If you’re in Alabama, Michigan, or Ohio, you might be in luck – it’s been spotted at restaurants in those states – but if you’re elsewhere, you might have to wait for a wider rollout to try it. On the plus side, the smaller drop gives Culver’s time to perfect every element, so if this one does hit restaurants nationwide in the near future, it knows what to improve on.
