It’s shaping up to be a big summer for Culver’s. Just a few weeks ago, the chain announced two new sandwiches, its Jalapeño Jack Pub Purger and Jalapeño Jack Chicken Sandwich, which followed its earlier Colby Jack burger back in April. Now, it’s quietly released yet another new offer, and this one looks as though it might be its best release of the year so far.

That’s if what most customers are saying about it is anything to go by, at least. And honestly, this one sounds gooood. Here’s the lowdown.
Butter? Check. Parmesan? Check!
As Allrecipes reports, Culver’s has begun testing Buttery Parmesan Pub Burgers (as well as Buttery Parmesan Chicken Sandwiches) in select locations across the country. The burger version starts with a Culver’s patty and tops it with provolone, Parmesan crisps, and a creamy, herb-flecked Parmesan sauce, as well as veggies and mayonnaise. It’s all tucked into a brioche hamburger bun. The chicken sandwich version is the same, but with your choice of chicken patty (crispy, spicy crispy, or grilled).
Now, doesn’t that all sound absolutely delish? What I love about this burger is that it goes for summer flavors without simply going for heat or spice. The combo of Parmesan and herbs makes this thing feel very Mediterranean. Interestingly, it also fits in with what feels like it could be the start of a trend, or at least a push towards garlicky, parm-y flavors in burgers: White Castle has just announced its new Garlic Parm Chicken Slider, which feels as though it lives in the same world.
Let’s Stay On The Culver’s Burgers. What Do People Think About Them?
So far, so good (mostly). Customers who have tried its new sandwiches have, by and large, enjoyed them. “Its delicious. I’m eating it now,” said one person on Reddit, with another saying that they were “very pleased” with the burger. That said, there have been some dissenting voices. “It’s a bit of a let down… the crisps are huge, and it is so heavily seasoned,” said one person. I love garlic and Italian seasonings but it’s so overpowering.” The customer went on to say that if you get it on a burger, you might want to ask for the patty not to be seasoned.
So, maybe not a universal win, but these sandwiches are still going down pretty well. Check out your local store on the Culver’s app to see if it has them in stock.
