Summer’s here, and it’s lemonade time, baby. And Dairy Queen knows it. The fast food chain has been on a bit of a roll with discounts and deals lately: Just a few weeks back, it was offering dipped cones for $1, approximately a 75% saving on the regular price of the dessert. Now, it’s following that up with 50-cent drinks…for a full week.

It’s not just lemonade it’s discounting, either. Here’s how to avail of this deal.
Dairy Queen Discounts, Coming Your Way
From June 15 through June 21, Dairy Queen will be offering its customers medium DQ Coolers and Sparklers for 50 cents apiece. There are actually two types of lemonade (or, really, lemonade-flavored drinks) going on here: DQ’s Sparklers are closer to a typical lemonade, while its Coolers are a creamier experience. Either way, though, you’re going to be saving some money if you get one of these: These drinks run at around $3 to $4, depending on location, so Dairy Queen’s knocking off quite a lot of cash for this one. You can also grab one of these drinks in its new Hibiscus flavor for the same price.
This offer is only valid for one purchase per day, and will be available at participating DQ locations. The catch, though, is that you have to order through the app. Of course! But if tapping a few buttons gives you a couple of dollars off a drink you’d normally buy, we guess it’s not the worst thing in the world.
A Real Throwback
Dairy Queen announced the start of “lemonade szn” (its words, not ours) with a very nostalgic pop-up. The chain turned its Point Pleasant, New Jersey, restaurant into a lemonade stand, capturing the moment and duly posting it on Instagram. In our heads, there’s a little kid with their own lemonade stand right next to it, watching their business siphoned away – and if that isn’t an image that encapsulates capitalism, we don’t know what is! There’s still time to pick up its summer Blizzards, too, so grab a couple while you get your discounted drink. Hey, you’ll need to stay cool, after all.
