A few months ago, we tried the viral Trader Joe’s frozen corn ribs. Remember the corn ribs? People were showing you how to make them in the airfryer all over TikTok. Well, we weren’t the biggest fans. But that doesn’t mean you should give up on buying your corn products from Trader Joe’s. Here are our thoughts on the Trader Joe’s corn ribs and the other frozen corn we think you should be buying from TJ’s instead.

DON’T BUY THIS: Trader Joe’s Seasoned Corn Ribs
These weird little pieces of corn feel pointless. We tried them and reviewed them and we just weren’t impressed. They’re super greasy and very salty. But, greasy as they are, somehow if you even slightly overcook them, they become very dry. The shape makes them hard to eat. I’m not sure why you’d buy these other than the novelty factor. Please stop buying the Trader Joe’s frozen corn ribs.
BUY THIS: Trader Joe’s Mexican Style Roasted Corn
If you’re looking to buy frozen corn from TJ’s, this is the route you should be taking. Trader Joe’s corn ribs might be viral, but their frozen, Mexican-style corn actually tastes good. First of all, the corn is cut off the cob making it extremely easy to eat and great for sharing. It comes with a “creamy, smoky sauce that melts off as the corn heats.” Additionally, it’s flavored with lime juice and cilantro. Lastly, it comes with a pack of cotija cheese for topping the dish. This would be great added to a burrito bowl (it might even improve Trader Joe’s frozen chicken burrito bowl) or served alongside some grilled chicken. Once you taste this, you will never consider buying corn ribs again. In fact, you’ll forget corn ribs even exist!
Nice article. Not a fan of soft cheeses or blue cheeses (too much mold for my allergies). Where’s the Haloumi review? The article was informative, but brief. (Understandable, as they carry myriad cheeses.) TJ’s cheeses from Spain were not mentioned. TJ’s sells incredible Manchego & Iberico cheeses & the sheep’s milk Feta in brine is delicious. They sell a sampler package of three cheeses from Spain that are great paired with crackers or fruit, melted or added to salads or casseroles. Yumm! (Amusing story about soft cheeses like Brie. I worked at a small artisnal cheese company. A customer bought some Brie, went to the coast & left the cheese to warm atop his dashboard. Came back hours later & the cheese had definitely softened & dripped melty cheese down his dash, into the radio, etc. He returned to the store livid. He wanted a refund because the cheese had melted everywhere. LOL)
That may be your opinion, but it is definitely not my opinion the corner ribs are an equal to anything else I have ever tasted!
Stupid talk text anyway the corn ribs are unequaled you cannot even begin to compare them to anything else.
